My aunt lives somewhere near cootamundra. :)

I'd go if the breakdance would be there. For a lower-thrill ride, I LOVE it.

They have been. xD

Told my teacher I already had most of what we required, and didn't explain other than "magic".

He told me to make sure I added a couple of decimals to convince him I didn't just get it off the net...

Wicked. xD Got some more info today. Apparently we get a vest, and we have to go on three of the rides - The Giant Drop, Tower of Terror, and Gravitron. We need to measure things such as velocity, freefall time, braking time and stuff like that. So far, we only have one person too chicken to ride on...

Anyone done a workbook for dreamworld? (School)

Well, it looks like I'll be at dreamworld next wednesday.

We're going there for physics, apparently there's a booklet to fill out about the Giant Drop, Tower of Terror, and Gravitron.

I was just wondering if anyone else has completed a similar workbook, and if so, what kind of things it involved?

Oh, and is food pretty average? ($4 for a cup of chips, $2.50 for a can of coke) If so, $150 should cover entry, the limited amount of food I may want after the rides, and rides. What about any other costs that may come up? Sorry about all the questions, but at the show here, I just take a bag and p...

That's awesome. Thank you so much!

So about $100 for rides per day? That gives me 10 basic rides, and a few of the majors.

Thank you again, that's really helpful! (and that wasn't sarcastic, sorry if it sounded like it...)

:P I would prefer to not go on a weekend, but mum has told me I'm not to miss any school. Blagh.

Awesome, thanks! The only two of those I've been on are the scorpion and the breakdance. Thanks for the advice though! I think entry will be about $16. Well, that's what's currently on the site. Now I have to start saving money for rides. :P Thanks again! :) And the post I was replying to just went ...

It seems that I may be in Brisbane at the time of the Ekka, for the 11th and 12th (saturday and sunday). Do people here generally meet up there? If so, would I be able to tag along? Also, I've never been to a show other than our local one... What would be suggested money amounts to take? Any other t...

Pirates III (possible spoilers)

Just a few random questions. Who's seen it? What did you think? What was your favourite scene? Do you think there will be another? Should there be another, or will it just be drawing it out too far? I've seen it twice. I loved it. My favourite scene was this one: Mistress Ching: Who is this traitor?...

Otherwise I'll have to stalk the show until I get to ride it.

Or maybe I'll do that anyways. xD

Nice! My dad used to work in Emerald. Sounds pretty good! Might see if I can make it up there next year.

Cyber party sounds like fun, I don't believe we've had it in Maryborough.

We get to go to dreamworld later in the year for Physics... I think it shall be fun, but again - none of the class members are my friends, which means it'll probably be a bit boring again. Hopefully any rides will make up for it!

I've tried that. They're still not happy. I've also tried telling them I want to do Photography or Equine Studies instead of Veterinary Science, but they don't like that idea either. They've told me they'll pay for vet, but not for the others. I'm sure I'll be able to make up my mind by the end of n...

Nah, I don't want to show cattle again, only did it through the school, and now it's getting pretty boring. I just want to do it for the fun of it, however, my parent's have already planned my life out - not including shows. I just love the atmosphere, and the rides are pretty damn good too! But the...

Lol, I've gotta wait until I finish school, with the subjects I'm doing it's rather difficult when I take time off (Cert. 1 in work readiness, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Ag Science, Maths B, Maths C, English). It was bad enough when I took three days off because of illness, not to mention if I too...

Maryborough Show?

Just wondering whether anyone was at the Maryborough show? 24th and 25th May. Or even if anyone's been to it in the past? It's not that bad for a two-day show... I can't remember all the rides, but there were quite a few... I'll post what I can remember - I didn't get any photos or write a list this...
