Yeah sometimes I complain too much about the show but it's only because I am remembering too much of the good old days, I guess I need to chill a bit and just accept that things have changed over the years. I'm gonna give the show a try this year and will make the most of what is there to enjoy.

I think they've decided to close the carnival early every evening simply because they know that people will not want to stay too long anyway due to complete boredom in the carnival ar...

^^ Where exactly is that carnival with Zipper, Crazy Coaster and Extreme? Zipper Art looks good BTW.

I will only get to Geelong if I know the Zipper really is there this year. Extreme is a great ride BTW, so if it is down at Geelong I highly recommend it. EDIT: list updated on the website with .... Terrific ride of No Limit Top Gunner, the video peaks at 2:15, and you did a great job of holding on to the camera through all that. Very Well Done!

great photos. I was just thinking how I always prefer the original names like Round Up name over themed names like Tornado. Still Bells Tornado does live it up its name in a way I guess hehe.

Looking forward to the onride of No Limit...I can imagine it may not have been very easy to film?

Thanks for the info regarding Mixer, I was not that keen about riding it but I was thinking there must have been some issues with the ride. Anyone know what Port Fairy has? It's interesting to see what is showing up at each location. edit. I agree about Matterhorn....what were they thinking? sad.

No Limit does the same thing kind of (upside down through the station) and it's the most intense and best part of the ride cycle IMO, even though it makes you feel like you may pass out from the G forces. If I owned and operated the KMG ride, I would probably be very cautious of running it like this...

oh well, looks like no Super Loops for Super Loops this year/next. Good to hear Polyp will be going, should be good fun and still worth the visit.

Yeah true, good wheel except for the color, or lack of. Check out the Skymaster, looks better IMO.

I remember riding that Round Up at Geelong about 3 years ago, it was behind the Mega Drop just like in the pics. I think it was called Tornado though, which was a bit strange since Bells Round Up is also the Tornado.

Good to know the ride list on the website is incomplete. Sounds like the carnival may be ok afterall. I usually go if I can, I but I doubt I will be able to make it over this time. If the mystery ride is the Orbitor I will go no matter what happens!!!! Thanks for the updates everyone.

^noooooo.....I like the classic little 'hamburger' cages A LOT, even if they are kind of small. A lot of people say that rides like Turbo and the Zipper should have open style seating, but I don't agree!!!! The design of the the cages/cars/tubs has a lot to do with how they spin......to keep the rid...

Millers should take it down to Rye, I think it would the perfect spot for it.

I tried out XXXL. I was not impressed since it did not thrill me once!!!! What a shame since it looks impressive to watch. I think most of the newer rides are really hit or miss each time you ride. Give me Hard Rock anyday, that is heaps more fun every time you ride it. BELLS TORNADO is a real class...

Looks like a fun ride. If I see it around I will be sure to jump on. I like these festivals more than the major shows, they have some good rides you don't see appear anywhere else.
