Fantastic review and pics, guys!!! Just luv the fluro lighting / presentation on Hurricane! Sorry - whose Zipper is that one? It does look a bit weird with the boom lights missing - hopefully they have plans to complete the makeover,,,,, Thanks Topgunner for all your photos of your recent shows you'...

Rock o Plane

Ok - got sent this link from a friend who knew I was a ride freak... I'm still laughing at it - completely insane! I have never ridden one of these, but do recall seeing one at the Royal Melbourne Show many years back (somewhere near the old dog pavilion).... Anyone been on one? I guess that's where...

What a tragic chain of events,,,, I hope for the lady's sake, the truth may finally come out and she can finally get some closure on that devastating incident all those years ago. I visited Luna Park Sydney back in the early 70s when I was 5 or 6 - I remember going on the ghost train with my Dad - m...

Wow, It's good to know that it's not just me that is unimpressed re: the demise of the mouse! Princess / Zamperla: You raise an interesting point re: "preserving traditional amusement rides". I'm not sure if this has been addressed in other forums, (or should be in this thread), but I woul...

Benclare / Princess / Zamperla,,,, Agreed, agreed, agreed......... The Mouse's have a huge history associated to them all (especially the original 3 - (Melbourne -Witts; Adelaide - Bob Lawrence; and Luna Sydney - I think all the same layout config and design)..... Aussie World (from my understanding...

Adelaide Showground's Mouse To Go

All, Sad news - one of the remaining wooden Mad Mouses we have left in the country looks like it's not going to be around after this years show. I rode this a few years ago, and it was actually in still nice condition - exactly the same layout as the one we had at the Melbourne show for many years,,...

Thanks Zacchinboy, Can't really remember the artwork - I'm probably talking 20 years ago now.... For those who have never seen what we are talking about, I guess the only "similar" suspended ghost train / dark ride that I have come across is the Haunted Mansion dark ride in Funland, Rehobo...

LOL! FANTASTIC!!! - hadn't seent that clip for years,,,, Ah - memories of what Luna Park used to be like, with Big Dipper, Giggle Palace, River Caves, Mangels Whip and outdoor GoKarts... Yeah - the spinning cages of the ghost train were quite a modern concept -I think I also saw it at a later time a...
