I don't have any pics of Splash but it is basicly a water ride more commonly found at theme parks. The ride started travelling Australia in 1996 but it maybe a lot older than that. When Tomte Land opened in 1998, Splash Canyon was its major attraction and operated for most of the year there except f...

2006 Newcastle Show

Hi all, The Newcastle Show begins this coming Thursday and I was wondering whether anyone is going? I thought about it some time ago but then learnt the ride lineup was going to be very disappointing. I'm not sure whether the outcome of the recent court case will change things but it's a real shame ...

The Roller Soaker sounds interesting! I'm not too sure about getting wet before going on the ride though. It'd want to be a warm day or you'd get bloody cold whilst lining up. As for the water park, I can't wait for it to open! It does sound like it isn't going to be too large, especially if they're...

I'm glad to hear the Cliff Hangers are fine now. I had read about what happened in Florida onn Amusement Ride Accident Reports and News. I just won't think about it when I ride the Cliff Hanger on 3 April which will be my first day working at the Easter Show.

Cool! I'm especially entrigued about the modified Parra Trooper. Sounds amazing! Do you know whether these rides will be operating at the Easter Show? Also, what carnival operators are buying these rides?

Cheers.

I think I talked about this topic on a different thread, but it’s worth revisiting as my favourite ride list changes after a visit to a carnival or theme park. Firstly, I have to agree that the Rainbow is truly an ausome ride, and in my opinion, a trip to the Easter Show isn’t complete without at le...

Thanks loads for the info guys! I reckone it's extremely disappointing that Magic Mountain would spend so much on a Galaxy coaster, especially since there are so many of them around. I also wasn't over impressed with Magic Mountain, mainly because I'm not a real waterslide fan, except for WetnWild w...

The Diamond Python roller coaster.

As most of you regulars know, I have an interest in the history of rides, especially where they get moved to over the years. This time, I'm wondering about the Diamond Python coaster at Magic Mountain. I haven't visited the park for years and that ride wasn't there the last time I was there. Where d...

Definitely the TT. It's even better than the Drop Zone rides I went on in the States and that's saying something. I can't wait to get my friends from America here to ride it!

My favourite Wonderland coaster would have to be the Demon! Because of this forem, I learnt that the ride was originally at World Expo 88 which makes it the first time I rode it. It's a little old now, and definitely a rough ride, but I love it!
