Re: Royal Melbourne Show 2009
As Huss had said earlier, the flume was in a pretty crap position, but still seemed to be doing reasonable business with families (parents and kids). I think with the Kids zone closeby and designated Drumstick Family carnival area, a lot of people / families were being drawn to it - gotta say it's v...

Re: Luna Park - Wooden Big Dipper
Thanks Zamperla - I have been looking for years of shots of the Big Dipper with little luck - one of my life's biggest regrets I never rode it! These photos really give an insight into how the track was positioned at the park, and how "magic" the park used to be,,,,,

Sea World - Aborted Trip
Hi all. Well as some of you may have read from my Movie World posts, the family is now on vacation on the Gold Coast. The trip was booked many months ago, and at that time of booking, the only park that I was thinking of taking my girls to was Sea World. 2 years ago I took my then 2 year old there, ...

My October Family Holiday
Hi all, Well finally my long awaited leave has arrived, and I have towed my family up to the Gold Coast. My plan of course was to ride kiddie rides at SeaWorld with my 4 and 2 year olds girls,,, but also hoping that I could get a "JDO" (Jaffa Day Off), and go roller-coastering to my hearts...
