Yep I did mean Python Loop, I was a bit vague there. I do like Super Loop as well and haven't ridden it for years. Wittingslow's one used to operate at Darling Harbour until mid 1994 when it along with Tristar, Galaxy Coaster, Disco Train, UFO etc were replaced with a Cha Cha and Splash canyon.

Albury is also on this weekend so I'm guessing quite a lot of gear headed there. Can't wait for your Extreme review if you ride it.

Great review!
I do wish the looping coaster would come east again as it was one of my favourites at the Easter Show in the early 90's.

Can't wait for the vids Huss!
I am yet to ride Free Style and judging by the reviews, it seems like a better experience than Speed so I look forward to trying it. I also think NL is comparitively more comfortable than Space Roller and definitely Sky Walker!

Re: Dollywood sues HUSS
The only problem with cutting edge attractions like this as there are so few of them in the world and I guess you could say their manufacture is experimental. It's bad for all involved when the ride keeps on breaking down and very costly obviously!

Loved the review and thanks for it!
I've never ridden No Limit in the rain before but I think it would be an interesting experience. All the water that collects on the ride while it is stationary would be thrown around like a waterfall!

Yes this has happened in a lot of US parks too with names reverting to Kids World or similar.
On another subject, I'd love a review of the new coaster if anyone on here has ridden it! My apologies if this has already been done and I've overlooked it.

Thanks for the pics and review; I hadn't heard of that particular festival previously! A shame about the weather too.

Re: 2011 Perth Royal Show (October 1st-8th)
Many ride operators use the "Australia's fastest ride" tag on their attractions. Amongst the rides already mentioned, I've heard that claim on Super Sizzler, Force 10, Rock-n-roll (new version) and Extreme Speed. I don't think there is any real truth in those claims but it sounds good and ...

Re: Rainbow in AUS
According to the website, Sky Diver is listed as one of the rides available for hire and Rainbow is also mentioned as a carnival attraction so it looks positive for a return some time soon! Although Adventure Land opens for a period of time each year, I don't think Rainbow, Fear or Sky Diver operate...

Re: Crestwood Fair
I called in for a few minutes earlier today and I must say the selection of carnival rides was very disappointing especially since the amount of land available could've easily housed a carnival larger than the Royal Easter Show and the amount of people the fair apparently attracts every year. The ca...

Was just wondering who owns the Splashdown ride? I couldn't find any reference to it on Show West's website but that could just mean it isn't available for hire.

Crestwood Fair
The Crestwood Fair, part of the anual Orange Blossom Festival held in Sydney's Hills District will be on this Sunday, 18 September at Crestwood School in Baulkham Hills. I have heard this is quite a big event with a decent selection of carnival rides although I don't know what the line-up is. I'm gu...

Re: Where Is "Star Dancer" ride??
Yes I remember being really shocked when I saw the seatbelts on Rainbow. I think this happened in 2003 or 4? I don't really have anything against worksafe or any other safety overseer. I like to know the rides I'm going on are safe and certified to run and I am sure showmen are appreciative of the t...

Awesome reviews as usual guys! Boy can't I wait to finally try Extreme! It sounds totally unbelievable and fun and I will be trying it soon nothing surer. It seems I am in the minority about Disk'o. Sure it's a family ride but I really enjoyed the sensation it gave; nothing too intense but fairly si...
