I thought we only had one.
Anthony Laurie owns one (Techno Jump) and T.P.A own another (Super Jump) both made by Sartori.

Zamperla would have made TPA's Skyflier, it looks similar to the A.R.M model but the actual arms that come out from the tower are different :)

Here is a park map found on the ACT heritage library website:

Looks as though there was a Galaxi coaster, Hurricane and a Gravitron and a few other attractions. Very interesting find Dave.

It sort of reminds me of what March's Hurricane looked like before the refurbishment. Looks good though!

Isn't that the way it works 9 out of 10 times? It's normally the idiots on the ride that try to show off or something and then when this happens they try to pin it on the workers. There needs to be a law against stupidity sometimes...

Re: 2011 Fishers Ghost Carnival

From Campbelltown station it's an approx 15 minute walk. Best way by far is to turn left onto Hurley Street once exiting the railway station and turn right onto Dumaresq street (First set of traffic lights) Then turn left at the next set of lights which is Queen Street and keep following that road u...

Would be a bit hard to sue SBF Visa... especially considering the ride is 2nd hand. I wonder if the owners of it when it was "cool and fresh" had as many issues...

Scorpion was also and is still claimed to be Australia's fastest ride too... But then again Tower of Terror II at Dreamworld goes 161k/ph (Verified as well) Even though it operates now at around 156k/ph

Re: Another road accident

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Small family and everyone affected. Having personally known Robert Small and having worked with him a few times, this incident has really hit me close to home. I know it wouldn't hit me anywhere near as hard as it has for his family, especially Donna Small, it's...

Re: Where Is "Star Dancer" ride??

Last I recall seeing it was in 2003 at the Royal Canberra Show. It was the first ride I went on after a severe back injury that had me in a wheelchair for 2 years... Once again that was before it had the cages on it, it was the last time I saw Turbo as well.

Extreme Speed was charging 15 dollars a rider at EKKA or 2 for 25 dollars I think it was with Re-rides either 5 or 10 dollars.

The ride in question that was involved in the accident was TPA's Crazy Coaster. Due to the damage sustained during the crash it will no longer be doing Adelaide Show. I am unsure of just how bad the damage is just yet, but my thoughts and prayer's go out to the whole TPA family and staff involved in...

It's one of my favorites too... It's one of the few rides that left me feeling slightly dizzy. It did make my legs cramp up a bit as well but far out it's fun! But IMO sitting on the outside seats is much more enjoyable than the inside ones.

Why is it I can see someone doing that in 5 - 10 years Dave? With the way society is heading these days it's only a matter of time before they actually glue you to the seat!

Went to the EKKA yesterday... and IMO It's one of the worst one's that i've ever been to... 30 minute waits for showbag pavilion... I will say however that TPA's "Extreme" really is the new crown of the EKKA. It was an intense and very fun ride that I could re-ride constantly. It pulls ple...
