The whole 'i know and you don't' screams of attention-seeking.

It's a ride. Not a top secret ASIO file. Get over yourselves.

this topic is getting more and more entertaining as it goes on.

Hate to say it, but there's probably more chance of the recycled Spin Dragon than something as reliable and well respected as a HUSS Topspin.

with out sounding rude i know that luna park sydney haven made it public whats going in... but with what the rumors are of a respected ride coming in to replace the ranger... so why not just tell us... or give us a better idea? is it a top spinner or a wave swinger??? my guesses are its the wave swinger..... it will be good to see it there

Definitely is going to be a super loop, the residents in the apartments have been told it has a soothing sound with therapeutic effects such as curing insomnia, anti depressant and changing the behavior in your children / pets

What Itsun is saying is indeed correct. Everything matches. The ride was previousl at Luna Park Sydney (March's / Midway Amusements) Wave Swinger was first at Luna Park Sydney before being trailerised and sold to them. The ride is being refurbished, as we could see bits of it at the Royal Easter Show with the new panelling. And it hasn't done any other shows recently.

It is not a Super Loop, Turbo, Rainbow OR Top Spin. Luna Park's replacement is in fact the Wave Swinger. It wasn't that hard to peice together all the clues that people were dropping.

Your sarcasm is not appreciated in the slightest. I would honestly love to see you own a large attraction, especially one like Wave Swinger which needs constant attention. You may be able to dish out the crap on rides, but I highly doubt you would be able to maintain the upkeep of any ride... even one like the photo you posted. March's Swinger has been kept in immaculate condition, even when I first saw it in person in 2004, it has still remained an amazing attraction. No wonder it keeps getting booked at the Easter Show, especially when nowadays, older rides are being given the boot. Don't be soo quick to judge mate, because if you couldn't do it yourself, you should keep your mouth shut and just appreciate how hard some of our showmen work to keep great (European) attractions on the road.

Coinking, That photo would have been taken just after a ride breakdown. It's just like any peice of machinery, they can all have technical difficulties. I also know first hand just how much care March's take with all there rides, so your sarcasm isn't really appreciated. I am fairly sure it is just a Long Term lease of the Wave Swinger but I am not 100%. I am personally not a huge fan of the panel work that the Wave Swinger has had done to it. But I have heard they have 2 sets of panels. The yellow ones which they want to keep in immaculate condition for the Capital shows and the Green, blue and pink ones we saw at RES. I am not 100% if this is true but it's what I have heard. March's do take great pride in all there gear, and every time I ride there gear everything including all the lights are working. The ONLY time I rode a ride f theres without all the lights working is when it was being refitted with the LED's.

you both need to be able to take a joke, if your thought that was a serious attack on the presentations of the operators your very wrong. Its no surprrise it gets ground everywhere it goes because waveswingers are classics on the grounds. Presentation wise id say its looking abit old and it looked terrible at the Royal easter show with half a paint job, Putting new lights on a ride and some paint doesn't bring a whole new ride to the grounds. But hey dont bite the hand that feeds you when it comes to free rides.

It may be a joke, but seriously... i thought we were all here to discuss our love of rides, and the industry... no matter what. Look at Wittingslow's Pirate... the thing has seen much better days, it doesn't run too well, the painjob (finally) is nice and new... but still i love it... and the fact that it's a HUSS

Coin King, I enjoy the humour in your posts you have a good track record for hitting the mark and walking a fine line.

Hopefully the refurbishment does it justice, I would like to see the history panel remain with the info about Franz Schwartzkopf, Luna Park etc.
