Calendar Idea...

Post by HUSSRAINBOW »

I know this sounds rather stupid, and feel free to shoot me down for it... But I was thinking that we need something like a Calendar... Featuring High Quality photos of 12+ different rides travelling the Oz circuit.
I know this is something similar to what Matts Carnival Warehouse does... But I think it would be cool to have like one of our rides... professionally printed.. etc etc....
Rides we could include:

Space Roller - Watkins
Rainbow - O'Neills
Sky Walker - March
No Limit - Bells
Raupen Bahn - TPA
Wave Swinger - March
Speed - Golden Way
Breakdance - Lauries
Zipper - Shorts
Sky View -
Mega Drop - Osbournes
Hard Rock - Johnsons

Any idea's.... I think it could work out really well, Could include all MAJOR show dates etc... , if done properly.... who knows, could see it hanging' up in some control booths...

Let me know what you guys think, i'd be happy to make it happen.

Calendars

I have enjoyed Matts calender for the last couple of years, which I intend to get again this coming year. I would definately be interested in an Australian version.

Cheers

I want either Sky Walker or Space Roller for November  You are really outdoing yourself though Chris, it looks fantastic so far.

I got a March's Amusements SkyWalker Calendar and Pen today but the calendar is only good for another 2 months ahaha.

Not many of us are around Shockwave to get a good photo.... I think if we do do it, then we might have to try and stay away from the "usual" picture and find some more interesting ways to capture the ride. The Skymaster was a good place to take amazing aerial shots....

Love the thinking Chris. I am with you there on the last comment. You want to get away from the standard photo and try and get a unique shot that will make the Calendar stand out even more.

If you want to do something like this, you would want to do it right and put some real work into it (not saying you arent doing that already - just speaking generally).

I have a number of thoughts on this and will speak to you about this.

Seems mearly like it would just be an online thing.... In reality, i'd probably just ending up doing the artwork, layout stuff... and then other people help in other ways.... I dunno... might just forget it..

It's a top idea dude,
My lil bro did a similar thing for his 'gay' skyline club bum buddies and they got one profesionally printed and was reasonably priced. They now sell over 50 calenders to their members each year.
So yeah, the idea has merrit... Good luck bud..
