Thanks everyone, yeah I enjoyed the Adelaide show though i do feel there is a loss of atmosphere without the original "retro" rides on the rooftops like the zipper, hurricane, pirate ship, and the MAD MOSUE! Though i went on the space roller, power surge, insanity, XXXL, big dipper, crazy coaster which were all great but the big dipper will never be as great as the mad mouse!

Yeh as I've heard the Big Dipper is a bit of a let down compared to the old Mad Mouse. Lucky for us we've still got the Luna Park coaster .
I'm suprised the Zipper doesn't do Adelaide now, why is that?

The zipper story is a good one! A lady sued the show ground and Watkins amusements in 2007 who claims she was struck in the head by a piece of metal from the ride whilst walking past at the 2003 royal Adelaide show! Since that we have never a Zipper in South Australia.

How stupid to sue them 4 years later after the "apparent" incident. Needs to wake up to herself especially to sue someone 4 years later. Especially in 2007 when Watkin's no longer had the Zipper and had sold it.
