McGregors Amusements have a Scrambler. I believe they still have it, they had it at the Gladstone Harbour Festival in 2008. I will probably get down there again this year to verify that they still have it. McGregors have had it for many years and it was still in its original colours with factory 'winged' decals.

KAY DEE promotions is run by Micheal Thomas, he also has an avalanche (music trip) and a majestic built dodgem track along with other smaller rides as well
ABC's is a 1976 model Scrambler I think brought from one of the Foster's.

KAY DEE's Cha Cha was originally Paviers TWIST

Could that perhaps be Durkin's Sizzler? I think it was built in Australia in the mid 80's if it's the one. I'm taking a stab as I can't actually see the pic.

Sorry Huss but the claw in that pic was broken down. Had a sign on it closed due to tech difficulties. Broke down sometime on the friday.

I don't think Young's Zipper has ever been out and about, they bought it from the UK. You may be able to find some photos of it from this previous owner.

Don't forget B & L's Amusements Whizzer. The most weirdest looking Cha-Cha I have ever seen.

Ah, the sizzler. Always was a favourite of mine, it's a shame it doesn't still make an appearance at the RMS.

Why don't you go to the Rye Carnival during the Summer Holidays because we have the Cha-Cha! I just can't believe that it's the ORIGINAL!

I'm actually fairly sure the Ex Downunderland Eli Bridge Scrambler is now at Kingston Park Raceway... Along with the old Astro Karts (Circular Dodgem cars). Would make sense as they likely brought both of the rides at the same time from the same buyer and as far as i'm aware Kingston Park have had those rides since the mid 2000's when Downunderland closed. Will try and sus it out and see what I can dig up.

So, I've got confirmation that the Eli Bridge Scrambler that resides at Kingston Park Raceway (QLD) is the ex downunderland model that has been refurbished and installed around 2004 - 2005 at the current location along with the Astro Karts being purchased from them. The unit does run well, but I personally find the Eli Bridge models just don't seem to have as much of a "kick" as some of the Australian models such as Bells or Taylors.
