Music

Post by Tayz »

I was just wondering where the ride operators get all there music from. I want to know because i like most of the music that they play and i would like to download it. Is there a playlist or anything that any one could give me a link to? Thanks

Most operators have either there staff or themselves make music CD's for the rides. I know a few members have made some CD's for other rides such as Power Surge, Skywalker and Space Roller. Alot of it is stuff from Ministry of Sound and CD's like that though.

Yeh most of the dance music you hear are just complications either bought or downloaded off the net. Next time you hear a song you like just ask and I'm sure they'd be happy to give you the track name and what album they may be using. When I use my ipod I have a heap of variety of different dance tracks with some dj sets/mixes and then a heap of albums such as MOS, Skitzmix, 4play, Wild, Ultimate NRG (Alex K).

I downloaded a really good techno remix of dynamite that i will give u the name of tomorrow as well as a list of my favorout dance/techno songs. :) I love how most of the thrill rides have really good speakers. Songs r better when they have lots of bass.

In my opinion, you can't go past Nick Skitz and his "Skitzmix" albums. He's put out about 35 so far and for an Australian artist, he is one of the best around. You want techno songs and dance remixes of old songs, well check him out.

There is something about the skitzmix that i dont like. I listened to this one, Nick Skitz - Skitzmix 34 Megamix. I guess i prefer real songs than all these random noises put together. Any one know any other good songs.

Yes Princess, I'm a great fan of Barbie girl and Dr Jones myself. I still think you can't go past modern remixes of old songs.
Eg:"Knowing me knowing you (ABBA) by DCX, "Summer of '69" by Mega-mania, "Final countdown remix" by DJ Almix, "Zombie" by A.D.A.M (feat)Amy, and not forgetting good old "Popcorn" by Koruption.
It's easy to do, just find an old classic song and Google it with remix after the song title then download it.
But if want something with a bit of bass, try the group "Brooklyn Bounce"

I'm a big fan of mash-ups (when 2 songs are put together or mixed up to the same tempo)

one of my favourites

The motor is behind the signs to the side of the main swinging arm.

Yes Tayz, I have become quite a connoisseur of music and bands since my clubbing days back in the early 90's. Back then there was a lot of "house" music (thank god that died out!) and moved on to dance stuff. I became a fan of this dance/techno music when I used to drive 3.5hrs to work to the mine at 1 a.m. and the music I played then, usually at least 112b.p.m. (beats per minute) I found used to keep me, how do I say this, more alert and awake while driving. Although there's nothing with a bit of Charlie Pride.
