Dashing through the snow,
On my way to Bateman's Bay,
The Turbo may be there,
I'll be smoking all the way

C'mon Elwyn Bell,
Load the beast on truck:'
Oh what fun the riders scream
As they scream Holy F,,,,

Oh,

Turbo Extreme, Turbo Extreme, Turbo all the way,,,,,,

Drove past maitland showground today, to find Haunted Hotel an a few food vans and several caravans parked up.
I know Haunted Hotel did the christmas holidays at Nelson Bay two years ago. Not sure on last year, maybe it could be headed that way
this year.

I should be going to Narrabeen, Gosford and Nelson Bay if things work out right.

Great poetry by the way!

Joyland's are running their carnival from Boxing day through to the 23rd of January. This year the carnival will be bigger and better with some new rides heading down. The carnival is located at Huskisson Sports Ground, opposite the Sports club. $25 for unlimited rides for 4 hours between 6pm and 10pm. Lineup is:

Pirate's Revenge
Wild West Family Coaster
Super Slide
Round Up
Hurricane
Dodgem Cars
Wild Chairs
Cha Cha
Crazy Cars
Rocket Ride
Mini Ferris Wheel
Carousel
Flying Elephants
Sideshow games
Food Canteens

I should be working down there for a period aswell so will get a few photos.

Cheers

1 day? surely they have different corporate hires on each day. Good to see the Python Loop is used more than just Perth Show.

Well, Rainbow or no Rainbow I would still go. Besides, I heard that Space Roller, and the two KMG rides Speed and XXXL does give that similar feel the Rainbow has, even if they're not exactly the same.

How on earth would those rides give the same feeling as the Rainbow?

I meant thrill intensity. Since the Rainbow dishes out substantial weightlessness, smooth airtime and the feeling of free-flying, the rides I mentioned were said to have that. Got that from a comment on the Rainbow at Amusement Ride Extravaganza, though they mentioned a different ride instead of the two KMG rides.

I went past anglesea today and saw alpine express and dogems all set up and the zipper was there but it wasnt set up. I am going to Apollobay for NYE which has its own carnival but usually it only has the cliff hanger, sizzler and dogems there so i dont know if i will go or not.

absolutely safe. Small incident that was a 'storm in a teacup' but safety was never a problem, was a power failure.

Am probably heading down to Narrabeen soon as well as Gosford and Nelson Bay to do some rides and hopefully soke up a good atmosphere. Does anyone know what's appearing at Narrabeen this year? I'm not even totally sure that carnival is on but I hope it is. I assume Goldenway and Pavier's are doing Gosford so I hope to get on XXXL and Speed.

Keep the good posts coming guys and happy New Year to everyone!
