Yeh I thought that the Hard Rock may loose its appeal to the public a little bit with the XXXL going right over the top compared to the Hard Rock.

Yeah, definately worth the effort. Went back tonight and played games against the wife for something different. Had a ball.. hehe
Won some toys for the kids anyways. Was wondering why it was so quiet for a while in yogo alley, then the fireworks finished and you couldn't move and the big boys were back to full cycles for a while...
Met the boys today, but was pretty hot in the sun so we didnt stay for long. Just got to get home early in the morning and the trip will be a success after the rocky start in Rocky airport.
Will go throught the pics when i get home and do a review. Catchyas!

According to the News Operators are having the reduce there prices to encourage riders
Guess that good news for riders
but bad news for operators

I think $10 is a better price for XXXL than $15. Yeh it is new and all but you can't go charging an arm and a leg to have a ride. If operators have lower prices, they'll get more people and in return more $$$. Yeh I know some of the rides are transported on a few trailers and all but its starting to turn people away, especially with families having a tough time at the moment with the economic crisis. But then the operators would be doing it tough too.

How much are the new rides operating for. Rock N Roll, Pirate's Revenge, Sky Flyer?

No Limit was charging 10 dollars the last 2 years at Ekka. XXXL is charging 10 dollars. Rock and Roll, Skyflier, Pirates Revenge were charging 8 dollars and 2 dollars for a rain poncho.

Thanks for those photos Kiwi. Did you go on anything? Noticed Goldenway's Speed has had the bottom panels and ticket/booth repainted aswell. Also a photo of Chant's Clown game which Chant's built themselves.

Shame with Pirate's Revenge with the front of the ride up high. Loss of viewing for the public. Everyone how has the Pirate's Revenge gone up there. Has it been popular. I'm guessing it wouldn't be as busy as it was at Sydney

Great photos Kiwi. Rock n Roll is looking stellar.

Did anyone ride it? How does the ride compare to Thunderbolt?
