The Fishers ghost Carnival kicks off this Friday evening at Bradbury Oval. I'm guessing the ride lineup is similar to last year with hopefully a few surprises! Am I being too optimistic in hoping Extreme will be there?...

Fingers crossed I'm heading down there this Sunday arvo although it's a long way from my place and not easy to get to.

Rides I've heard so far:

Mega Drop
Space Roller
No Limit
Ranger
Love Express
Wave Swinger (maybe?)
Adventure Island
Wacky Worm (maybe?)
Dodgem Cars
Kids Rides

Wish Space Roller would turn up at Ballarat

My bet is on Extreme staying in Vic for Dandenong,Ballarat,Traralgon etc.Fishers Ghost is already depriving the aforementioned shows of No Limit and Space Roller.

I wonder whether Fear will make its second appearance at the carnival? Sounds like a good lineup and I agree about Extreme most probably staying in Victoria, I just hoped against hope. I'll have to wait until next year to try it I think.

Yeh isn't too bad, I'd say Fear would be back on too forgot about it actually (no surprise why). Doesn't suprise me about Rainbow, by the looks of nearmap the lower part of the arm has been moved but the ride itself is in the same position/gondala trailer covered up in the same shape it's been there over the past few months. They'd wanna get a move on if they are looking at getting it back on Sydney next year, guessing it'd need a bit of work...

Cheers and thanks for the warning. I was planning on taking a trip down there this afternoon but it looks really difficult to get to by public transport so I may give myself another week to map it out and also hopefully get someone to come with me. I can get to Campbelltown station okay but it looks like a fairly complicated bus trip and walk from there to Bradbury oval on Bland Street I think. If I was going today, I would definitely be trying out Adventure Island to keep cool.

It is fair way from the station and I personally would not trust public transport e.g a bus, hurricane might know??

From Campbelltown station it's an approx 15 minute walk. Best way by far is to turn left onto Hurley Street once exiting the railway station and turn right onto Dumaresq street (First set of traffic lights) Then turn left at the next set of lights which is Queen Street and keep following that road until you get to the McDonalds. Between the McDonalds and the Domino's Pizza there is a walkway that goes under Oxley Street (MAIN ROAD) and takes you right to Bradbury oval.

The walk is a very safe walk even at night and is well lit the whole way. Hope this may help a little bit.

Hey guys, went over to have a look at Fishers ghost carnival yesterday and got a few photos.
Was very hot yesterday, but still quite a good crowd for so early in the afternoon.

Good photos cheers redhot. Didn't know Davis' Wheel was going to be there, better line-up than last year that's forsure. I unfortunately didn't get down there this year
