Hey Everyone pics aren't much different from last year. The rides are however looking a bit rougher especially the zipper which for some reason has checker plate on some of the cars? Only rode the Shockwave which seemed faster than last time I was on it, maybe i'm just getting old :p was fun although I would have liked to see a few more rides. Fun Factory was not set up due to being under maintenance but is looking very sad imo.

Thanks for the pics Monkeypie. Good to see a octopus that's still working, very rare.
Just needs some paint.

Didn't you say a Hurricane showed up before set up began...and it obviously bailed again?.That Zipper is definitely rough looking, saw it last year at Traralgon,it does operate pretty fast though. Can't wait for JD's to get their Zipper on the road regularly to show everyone how good a Zipper can look.

About time that Octopus got some TLC. It was looking pretty run down when I saw it in 2008 and again in I think 2010. The ride itself runs pretty well, but it honestly looked like garbage. I'm very glad to see Flarherty's spending money over time overhauling their gear. I know how expensive it can be sometimes, so it makes me happy to see them doing this. Hopefully soon after the fun factory gets some work done too and ends up looking as good as Shockwave :)

I think it's such a shame seeing Shockwave the way it is, definately starting to look tired...

Honestly I think a good scrub would bring it up ok, it's dirty. When I went on there was chewy on the front windows and you could see on the poles in the middle where there had been vomit on them and stuff and it was very early in the day when we went on so obviously had been there for a while.
