All I know is I could sit on that ride all day and not get sick of it; so much fun!

We most certainly are! What did you think of my cosmetic ideas for the Pirate? If you're wondering why I miss loving the Pirate. It's because whenever I ride it I get sick (I haven't chucked yet  ) I still have a hell of a lot of respect for the old girl, but the times of awesomeness has unfornutaley sailed :(

For me the PIRATE would look better how Wittingslow originally had it.... i'm not all for over the top ridiculous unnecessary theming.... Same with Rainbow

it's also a shame we don't have ANY photos from Lygon St! I never got any, or found any online! :(

What did the Pirate look like originally? The earliest memories I have of it was the supports painted white with the captain on the top and the sign attached. This was at Rosebud in 1999. Well what they've done to it now just makes wanna...must refrain from losing it...breathe...any photos of the Pirate in it's original form?
