i appologise if this has been covered before but i was wondering off the top of your head how many films you can think off that have fairground rides in them.
for me 2 come to mind first one is superman returns where the faller model lay-out was used and 2nd is supergirl where she is on a waltzer that was filmed here in the u.k.
ive uploaded a clip on you tube of her on the waltzer.

Yeah Wittingslow did that near my house, all before they got rid of Zipper and stopped leasing Matterhorn. Interesting that there aren't actually people on the rides, they're all dummies. Every Zipper cage had a dummy in it.

Scottland FF, good post. I had not seen that Supergirl clip since I was about 6 years old (pretty scary to watch back then) I recall the witch lives inside a ghost train or something.

Nice Waltzer.

A movie that comes to mind is The Lost Boys (Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk) a great amusement park.

Rollercoaster has a good Rainbow scene from PNE Playland, and a lot of other rides. Rather disturbing movie, but really good.

(Thanks Zamperla for that one)
