Rides I've been told going:
Mega Drop
Haunted Hotel
Crazy Rider
Crazy Cars Dodgem Track
Matterhorn
Breakdance
Techno Jump

Hard Rock I think
Theres some there it is alot bigger, its most of the usual gear that used to go to Bathurst when the Guild had the running of sideshow alley. Top Gun got asked to go but has a school fete this weekend. Will try and find out a few others

Final countdown to the showdown
BY BRIAN WOOD

THE battle for local showtime supremacy starts tomorrow when the first Bathurst Super Show opens at the Bathurst Showgrounds.
Staged by the Showmen’s Guild of Australasia (SGA), the event is being run in opposition to the traditional Royal Bathurst Show, run by the Bathurst Agricultural, Horticultural and Pastoral Association (AH&P).
The move comes as a result of the association’s decision two years ago to put to tender the right to supply amusements in sideshow alley.
Newcastle-based OFA Showstar was the successful bidder, leaving a gaping hole in the showmen’s guild calendar of events.
But determined not to miss out on the revenue generated in Bathurst, the guild decided to go it alone and negotiated a deal with the showground trust to hire the venue.
According to John Roberts from the SGA, amusement providers are converging on Bathurst direct from the Sydney Royal Easter Show and Victoria.
“All the big name rides will be there,” he said.
“We’re getting back to having the latest and greatest attractions in Bathurst – the way it should be.
“Times are tough, but you won’t get better show value for money anywhere else in Australia. Where else could $2.50 a head buy you a family ticket?”
Mr Roberts said the SGA members needed Bathurst on their circuit because, economically, it is one of the most popular shows they attend.
“It helps us support the smaller shows in the Central West,” he said.
“Over the years Bathurst’s been such a successful show that we’re really missing it
“Now we’re trying to show the people of Bathurst what they’ve been missing out on by not having the Showmen’s Guild in town.
“We’re working hard with the show society to get back on good relations and hope that happens sooner rather than later.”
Interesting play on words, "Where else could $2.50 a head buy you a family ticket?”

I thought it would've been bigger. Still a good lineup. I thought Hard Rock and Matterhorn were there. Can you do a review or have any photos?

Re: Bathurst Super Carnival
I would have expected it to be a bit bigger too.
What is Quad? (quad bikes?) how has the weather been?
Look forward to hearing people's trip reports.

Re: Bathurst Super Carnival
Yeh I'm sure there would've been. Especially with Bathurst never seeing No Limit before, that would've been a hit I'm sure. And the same with Pink's Crazy Cars, they would've been something very different too
