Coffs Harbour kicked off last Friday night and as I understand it, it's the usual affair with March's gear showing up with Sky Walker and the big Ferris Wheel as the majors. I'm not sure whether it's Davis's wheel or Skyview that usually does Darling Harbour this time of year. Hopefully the weather isn't too bad but I suspect it's pretty wet.

I believe Skyview is still in Freemantle WA.

Better Amusement's gear started heading down Sunday and Monday after Mountie's Christmas Carnival at Mount Pritchard over the weekend. Pretty much same line-up except the absence of the Jurrasic Coaster and one of our new rides that being the new little chairs (don't know the name, nothing major though). Line-up is:

Pirate's Revenge
Hurricane
Round Up
Cha Cha
Wild Chairs
Dodgem Cars
Giant Slide
Merry Go Round
Rocket Ride
Flying Fish
Fantasy Cups
Joy Wheel
Flying Elephants
New Chairs
Bungy Tramps
Peter Holland's Canteen
Sideshow Games (Lucky's, Bust A Balloon, Catch the Fish, Clown Van)

I'm heading down on Boxing day and working for 3 weeks, will get some photos. Not a great deal of new gear this year compared to last year with the debut of the 2 coasters. Could hopefully see something new down there next year...
Power Surge is in Luna Park Melbourne until early February, Jurrasic Coaster and Rockin' Tug are in Luna Park Sydney and the Crazy Cars and our new little Pirate Ship are heading to Darling Harbour.

Cheers

What's Disco Show 2000?

I would've liked to have seen Disk O back at Luna Park Sydney along with Mega Drop.

Does anyone know whether Narrabeen is on again this year? Am also thinking of heading up to Goldenway/Paviers Carnival in Gosford if that's on too.

Disco Show is Phelan's Funlight Miami.

Yeh Narrabeen is back on, from what I heard there's:

Ali Baba
Sea Circus
Flashdance
Cha Cha
The Claw (I think it's there)
Dodgem Cars
Kids RIdes
Sideshow Games
Food Canteens

Could be more there, not 100% sure.
And Ben Gill's Disko is back in LPS

I'm guessing that's at Portland down in Vic?
Here in Ulladulla there's the new year's carnival running at the park next to the Civic Centre. Rides here are:
Zipper (Short's)
Hollywood Drive Dodgem Track
Big Chair-O-Plane
Small Horse-O-Plane
Inflatables
Sideshows Games
Food Canteen

Also Husky Carnival is going well, had great weather so far. Fireworks on Boxing Day went well except we would've liked it to have been a bit busier, also the gloomy weather didn't help either. But from then til now we've had great weather and good crowds each night. Hope everyne has a great new year.

Cheers

Got back to Nelsons Bay on the weekend. Went and checked osbournes carnival. Lot of Fosters gear more than showtimes gear.
All operated by showtime. Not a great deal of people to start with but as the night went on it got busier which was good to see.

Cheers for the photos mate, locals would've been happy to see the Mega Drop back. Whose Rockin' Tug is that, haven't heard of either Foster's or Osborne's getting one.

I just got back from Huskisson this morning and worked last night and Friday night. Also worked from Boxing day til the 13th. We had good luck with the weather don't think we had to shut any nights due to bad weather, came close a few times though. Had fireworks last night and a massive crowd flocked to the oval, more people than last year which was great to see. Good for the company of course and a delight to put them on for the holiday makers and locals who were very impressed with the great display. Tonight is the last night the carnival is open then with the gear coming back up during the week to head to our Australia Day jobs. Didn't get alot of time for photos this year but much the same as last year.

Cheers
