Confusing isn't it :) Nevertheless, it seems that it's getting a common problem everywhere. More than often it's the youger families that are complaining about 'property value' while they knew pretty well what the bargain was when they moved in next to a amusement park, airport, train station... I'm...

You will get a different answer from each person asked i suppose...
Considering units sold, then for me it would be the Huss breakdance and the KMG Afterburner

Aaw difficult question. Depends alot on the competition for me, that eliminates Huss BreakDance and KMG's Afterburner which are my favorites. Don't really know how much a million is but secondhandridescan be a bargain (and a pain to maintain) after 10 years A Mack SeeSturmBahn would be fun, it attra...

Just noticed another rumor...

The family will hire Pheonix for one year and will purchase a new 40m high Heartbreaker from Mondial next year

Only one motor for main rotation, flipping is with counterweights (due to speed variation of main engine and tilted movement) It's a bit of a mess at the moment... owner wasn't experienced to give a nice ride, Pheonix missed the opening day and arrived late, on the first day two girls couldn't get o...

At last the Mondial 'Heartbreaker' left the factory and I was lucky enough that it is showing it's first rides 50m from my doorstep. A Belgian family has hired the 'Pheonix' for the next year. It arrived yesterdayevening, these are the first movies where they struggled to tame the beast in my opinio...

Ridesdb was very fast to make a movie from Intoxx, and the ride
looks really great in my opinion, it seems to twist even more
smoothly and effortless than the Inferno.

that's what some people in the thread were mentioning, others said that it wasn't a Huss Troika but a own build copy. I can't judge it, the floorplate doesn't look as one of Huss but the arms of the ride seem very similar. Very weird with the twister seats (they look french imo, maybe Reverchon?) Ha...

It's based on Inferno, that's for sure. I wouldn't really call it a rip-off (Inferno is also from Mondial) but more a revised smaller version. inferno is really massive (and expensive) with 4 trailers. I have seen only three of them around (Airwolf, newcomer and Nightfly) so i would hardly call it a...

New from Mondial

I'll post the link to the first released pictures as it would be rude to place those directly here. http://themepark.nl/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=857178&page=0&fpart=36&vc=1 It's the Mondial Diablo. Looks like their Inferno, but suspended and recalculated. I'm also very ex...

German rides are safe, or at least they are having the strongest regulations before they can be released on the German market. maintenance is another problem... especially with older rides (spare parts are not in stock anymore and more expensive to order) Forcing children to get into a ri...

is that HUSS Pirate a new model, or is it old and refurbished?
Das clubschiff is a new one, but it's not the only one that re-enters this year in germany, 'pirates of the carribean' is one that return from Asia[/code]

yes, I agree, as long as classics are well presented, they will stay. But if they have travelled for more than 20 years without good maintenance then there's a problem in my opinion. As far as i experience it, people choose to go on the rides with nice decoration and lights. If they look dull many w...
