Hey guys. on the subject of the Skymaster wheel.. I dunno if I mentioned this before in my Melbourne Show reviews, but, I was forced to ride the Skymaster for the first time in my life this year. It's really a pretty big deal for me...I am sure most people on the forums here would know that I (and s...

Very interesting. One would have to say it was a UNIQUE ride for the riders when the fault occured. A once in a life time experience. From what I could tell, is this a one armed Kamikaze ride? If it is, lets hope the over-the-head restraints are better then our Kamikaze, which does not hold me in m...

Woah! great links... just imagine if something like this happend on a ride like the Zipper!! the forces must of been unbelievable. Probably a once in a lifetime experience, or an experience that you would rather miss. It is cool to hear no one was fatally injured (at least so far). Seems it ...

I am still undecided. If Shappelle's version of events are completley true, why was she not aware her boogie board bag was obviously a liittle heavier? Furthermore, the bag must of looked quite different (or bulky) than usual? Why did she even bother taking a boogie board over in the first place? Sh...

thanks Mattie and Dave for the information above. I only ever really noticed the Pin lock and were not aware of any back up locking system. May I please ask you guys one more Zipper safety thing LOL :) Could a cage on the Zipper just break off the whole boom/cable from the excessive G forces? Do the...

Has everyone forgotten about the Redundancy safety on the Zipper?? It would have to be one of the safest rides. I have been on enterprises when they squeak like all hell and thinking ohhh sh**. But I have survived all crashes. LOL LOL Mattie... no, I was not aware of the 'Redundancy Safety" on...

Ugh get over it people! Spin Dragon was a fun ride, and if it was still around id ride it!, matter of fact, I dont care how a ride sounds or looks, ill still ride it :D LOL... I get the creeps on very old and well worn out rides, but I still love to ride them! On the Zipper at Rye I was convinced m...

!

Huss Enterprise.... nothing else is worth its cost or space. I rate LPM very low overall - even the Enterprise is nothing in terms of thrilling.... although it is a classic ride so it deserves some recognition... Simply, I think LPM.. :( is a poor excuse for a real Luna Park. It is quite dead and b...

^Mattie, the weather in Melbourne when you were here for the Show was really good for Sept. :D It was sunny, not a cloud in the sky, no cold breeze.. I forget the actual temperature for that one particular day, but I had not used any drugs. LOL trust me..

I would love to live across from the Theme Park!!! Obviously, these people are just a bunch of loosers who have no brains to begin with. I mean why the heck would you move into an apartment across from Luna Park if you hate the place? get some brains and then move address. Or, if you have lived ther...

A major park can and will inevitably be done somewhere other than the Goldcoast in the future. It is inevitable. It all comes down to good management and investment. Sega World was a very average venue, and can hardly be called a true themepark. It's focus was too narrow. (I can say this having bee...

Neb. As Dave mentioned, it has 3 person chairs :) :) :) . They all have a kind of 'over the shoulder, lap bar restraint' thingy that holds you in, although I don't think it's needed at all (due to the high G's exerienced). I used to ride Force 10 without really needing to hang on, so....if you want....

Neb. I'll try my best to describe it for ya ...(deep breath) here goes Before it starts, each car kind of hangs of its own arm. When the ride begins, you spin 'out' sideways (like the enterprise)..then, once it has picked up some good speed the whole wheel (still flat to the ground), lifts into the ...

Yeah, I watched... Did anyone else notice that the short ads leading up to the segment showed a Zipper? ..just something I picked up.
