hmmm..that does not really help us Top Gunner! haha, there are a LOT of rides which do the capitals, and it depends which capitals we are talking about. I guess I just have to wait it out now to hear some more (I am itching to know).

I know there are 2 different rides going that I don't think have ever been that sounds good. Thanks for the info. Thanks for the info Top Gunner. It would be nice to see something different down there for a change (but I guess the Verfurth's Giant Sky Wheel IS something different). Regardless, I still look forward to it every year.

It will be interesting to see what turns up at the Rye Beach Carnival this year. Has anyone been down to see the line up so far?

I'd say this looked like one of the best shows in Vic all year. Looks like you had a blast, great videos and pics too. I know what you mean about Deans Zipper, I rode last at Lilydale and I was thrown around just like that too, only difference is.... I went back for more :twisted: Thanks for posting...

Thanks Huss. It will be nice to ride it at night with the sea breeze drifting in from the bay on a hot summers night. I hope some decent rides make it there this year.

Maybe Bells could take the Hurricane there, or Tornado? It is usually a very small show so probably not.

hi all generaly when a rides only loads a 1/4 or 1/2 or 3/4 with people waiting the operators are trying to keep the ride ballanced this doesnt make sense at all....... i could understand if there was no one there. but your therory doesnt work when it comes to a big crowd. You buy a ride to operate...

no probs oldiebutgoodie, but are you saying that if the Zipper is fully loaded it is not balanced? I still think it must be the best ride ever invented, need to go for a ride on it now in fact. If only I had one in my backyard with my own operator.

Yes, I also wished they were loading both sides of the Zipper, I got 3 rides in, but wanted more it was that good! VICIOUS is the only word that I can use to describe it...I guess they think buy making the line longer it makes the ride appear 'popular' and it could lead to more people buying single ...

^ do you know which other hire jobs it has, if any left in Vic? I'd like to see this Hurri and have a go on it.

Both rides are great! I really don't have a preference at all since I will ride anything I see. Good luck Missionelement. edit: just had a look at the Energy Rush video, it looks like Mrs Mean Mother Zipper and Mr Hard Rock got a little too friendly one night and well...this is what you get :wink:

Thanks ozshowkid, not a bad line up. Great to see so many classics mixed in with the new rides.. Hmm? wonder what Colac has? I would think probably only one or two classics, or a major ride but not much else.

Davis' Zipper is running so well and looking even better these days. I think it's my favorite ride in Australia at the moment.

from my bad memory, I think Crazy Coaster was really squashed in and actually very close to Space Roller. This was in 06, I think.

I wonder if we would get really long good ride cycles if we wore AAF T Shirts on the rides....I think this could be worth doing!

Hard Rock was in Warrnamnool last year, not Bendigo, that pic you saw was probably from 06 or the show dates were different to allow HR to be at both.
