i hope the weather is good down there in Melbourne, been hearing bad winds and stuff, i hope the rides and stuff are okay....

didnt get to go to the fair, would of been great if i attended it, had work commitments so didnt get a chance to go, hopefully ill get to go to it next year....

that sounds like you had a great time there PNC... i will be attending it on the last day this Saturday, so hopefully its still running!!

will the north lakes fair be still running on the last day Saturday next weekend, cause i havent had a chance of going to it, im hoping i will be able to make it that day to see whos there in rides and may take a few photos of it???

okay it looks really nice when its on its trailer folded down, anyway i wanted to know something, i see North QLD shows are on lately most up there, do the showmen that do the north run go to the EKKA, if they do, do they go straight down the coast to EKKA after they have done the shows up north bec...

ok.. so what carnival would you think is worth traveling to in August (excluding EKKA)?? North Lakes :D Is that being bias???? :lol: I think we are only a hand full of rides short of the Ekka's lineup this year. thats good, im thinking of attending it as well and may also have pics and videos of it...

yeah it does seem most of it will be there, but there are probably other town shows and festivals on in August that we dont even know....

I see the Pine Rivers show is on as well in August just before the EKKA, so would that be another carnival to add!!
I would like to see a what would be there in rides at that show, is this show big in ride wise or is it small??

thanks for the update DEEFA, it looks like a great show up there, would of loved to attended it, sounds like it would of been twice as biggest as Bundaberg's that i went to this year, most of what you said was at Bundys but it looks like what you said had way more rides then bundy, rockys show just ...

i dont think we will have the holiday from now because of the trading we are allowed, once supermarkets and other shops are allowed to open on sundays public holidays are in the past then, they will be open on show holiday from now on and on other holidays except for ANZAC day and XMAS day, the time...

do you think super loops will come back to australia and travel the north run in QLD ever again??

Hey I too went to the show for a few hours today, was a great show like last year but reckon it was a bit quite then usual for this year, was much better in rides then last years i say.. I went on most of the rides that were there, Freestyle was good, i say its different to Speed but Speed much bett...

I agree with that, having another same type ride is a waste if you dont like doubles, but ive never seen Rockstar, so it will be my first time seeing that ride when i visit the show this weekend, the space that it will take up would be better to have a different ride there... ive never seen 2 cha ch...

yeah i dont get it as well whys theres 2 of the same ride type...??
Is there a few cha cha type rides there cause last years had about 2 or 3 of them i remember seeing??

yeah i notice that as well but i think i remember seeing it not working in the last few rides on saturday at Gympie, when in maryborough it wasnt working that arm, but in bundaberg was okay all arms were working??

Thanks for the reply.. Yeah Flashdance did looked like they had a few added lights to it, im just thinking there was photos of Kamikaze that i took and i was wondering is that Gill's one or someone elses, it just looked different to the one i saw in Maryborough last year???

yeah i noticed that in Gympie as well when it was there one arm wasnt working, it look like they put some rope around it to stop it from moving.. in bundy it was fixed and all arms were working....

hahaha... lol.. okay good to know if im bored.. the weather doesnt look good for the meeting for both days (sat and sun), so i might not go if its like that, but we'll see what it brings....

Anyway does anyone know what rides will be there at the rocky show this year??
