Re: Gympie show this weekend
hi Steve, good to read your posts. Welcome! It seems you may be getting spoiled by rides - that looks like a pretty good list to me (compared to many other regions in Aus) The Disk-O is not only new to your show, but new to Australia. It's very first spot was only April this year. Did you ride it? W...

Re: interesting near map sites/images
this was a carnival during the SA school holidays run by Tony Smans.
Mainly his rides with a few others provided by other owners.
ps. you missed your chance to ride Energy Storm - from what I heard the SA crowd can't get enough of this intense thillride

Re: Mondial Capriolo 10
its not purely cosmetic. It works in conjunction with the motor on the arm's hub. I'm only guessing here, but if the arm was powered purely from the centre, there would be too much torque to accelerate / decelerate at the rate NO LIMIT moves without bending it, so the fan helps distribute the power ...

Re: FUN FACTORY SOUTH YARRA
Deafshow no, I don't think this could've been possible, as the Grav was installed new in LPM from Kevin Ferarri in 1984 till its removal in 2001, and I know the FF Grav was there during some of this time, at the same time. The owner of LPM in this period was racehorse owner, Dennis Marks but I have ...
