Yes they have them in sideshow alley but in attractive sign written vans not a big ugly white tent. People now the difference between the ferris wheels. Also the skymaster has played a big part in many peoples show life....people have proposed on it, couples have ridden it every year as couples then...

They are already TV advertising a new ride coming in September!

Such a shame they didnt give Skymaster the send off it deserved....everyone got to ride the Chairlift one last time but not Skymaster.
It will leave a big void in the Ekka Skyline.

Thats what I thought. Why would you go and wack a dirty big fan on it to do nothing. It always looked to me like it was assisting the drive. I'd say though once it goes over the top it has enough motion for the fan to not need to assist so much hence it probably doesn't matter if its facing the wron...

What a waste if its only cosmetic and moreso why would you bother having it. I think it looks stupid but as I thought it was there for a reason I thought fair enough.

I thought the fan helped drive it, so don't understand how it works when the fan is facing the main arm on the way down. Looks crazy though

We it looks like Fear won't get back on next year being 2 years in a row of breakdowns. Leaving a awesome spot for the return of the Rainbow!

I remember many many years ago seeing Coney Fairs Rok N Roll operator holding the outside of the car doing cartwheels around the ride then jumping off while it was going. Looked pretty cool but now days OH&S would throw the book at you.
