i went to roller-coaster.com.au and i went to the roller coaster database down the bottom of the page it says there is a new accelerator coaster coming to dreamworld June 06.

From what I can tell this accelerator is a pretty big coaster?? I'd say that if this was going to open in June 06 it'd be pretty well into construction by now? I'd like to suggest that it is just a rumour..........

They're not getting a hydraulic launch coaster for 2007, that would be the most moronic move Dreamworld could make, what with Movie World having one now.

There is RUMORS spreading on Roller-Coaster.com.au of Dreamworld getting a Vekoma BOOSTER BIKE this year. As much as I'd love to see one of them there, I wouldn't take word for it until something official has been released from the park. However I'm fairly sure there is a new Roller-Coaster coming to Dreamworld in 07.

The Demon which was at Wonderland was a Vecoma coaster and it was quite rough but I'm not sure whether that was how the ride was made or because of its age and constant use. I'm pretty sure the track was a lot smoother at World Expo 88 but that was a long time ago and my memory is hazey...
Anyway, DW's new coaster is sure to be a good one if the rumours are true.

oh absolutly maybe when nightmares is over they will utilise that space for a coaster and utilise the volcano left from the remains of blue lagoon it is the most logical place to put a coaster will be interesting to see where it goes and what company dreamworld choose to make it and what themeing they use and if it is going to be an extension of goldrush country or a new themed land it would be a small "land" as there is not much space although with those pools filled in and the slides remooved it might be a larger foot print to work with.

The Intamin Accelerator Coaster (modified to have motorbike cars) Is still only a rumor until we hear something official, I would be fairly sure this is what we are getting. This could change at any stage, I.E it could end up being the Zamperla Version or the Vekoma Booster Bike.
I can just say... keep your eyes peeled.

awww way to be mean. hey can u find me a link so i can have a look at track layouts and stuff. i saw that 1 pic on ozcoaster but thats not enough and i havnt been able to find anyhting. anyone? help? thanks!

There are no pictures of the layout yet, The photo on Ozcoaster is the Vekoma version of the ride, Not the Intamin AG Version. The Intamin one is a prototype, there isn't even anything about it on there site!

From what I have heard, the Vekoma Booster Bike is actually a very good ride.
