Rumor has it that there is a Zamperla Disk'o coming to Aussie World. Parkz.com.au member Gazza has reported a sighting:
First things first, I didn't have my camera with me, so no pics.

But a red and black Zampera Disk'o' is in pieces in a fenced off area of the Aussie World car park (North of the entrance). It will be the 24 person version according to the sticker on the parts. The colour scheme was red and black, so my bet is that it will be themed to a red back spider.

Any Sunshine Coast locals who want to go and grab some pics?
I had a chance to ride Joyland's Disk'o at Luna Park over the summer holidays and it really is a great ride, and personally I think that is a great addition to the park. I hope they remove the Pirate Ship for this attraction as the Pirate Ship at Aussie World really is a poor excuse for a ride.

User Troy81 from Parkz.com.au has posted some pictures of what is expected to be called the "Redback" at Aussie World. From what the rumors are saying, this ride should be open by Easter. Rumors are also floating around about Aussie World installing a Log Flume, which IMO would be a real good move for the park.

So here are some photos of the Redback.

Went past Aussie World last Tuesday and there was a crane lifting the parts into place. I gather it will be up and running soonish

It is quite a good ride in my oppinion, probably more suited to families than thrillseekers but something nice to have a good laugh on without fear of feeling sick.
