Saw MIXER operate tonight... wow pretty impressive for a small ride, it's just the retarded Zamperla design that lets it down... really is a stupid looking concept.... operated very fast, probably the fastest of any of the videos ive seen.

video and photos up tomorrow!

Fantastic. Great to read it's running.

This is reason enough for me to take a long drive down to Rye on Friday night.

Nice video. Mixer looks great but those counterweights need something on them!

So the ride is down again, bad luck for the owner of the mixer and fellow riders who wanted to ride this.

Appolo Bay looks like a good carnival. Is the Paratrooper down there?

Funny that mixer was down, I watched about three cycles of the ride, and then the computer rooted itself, indicating that seats were unlocked, when they were infact locked... they had to get everyone off shortly after.... stupid ride

Thanks for those closeup photos of Mixer. The ride is looking pretty sharp. Nice bright colours.

Hopefully this PLC issue can be sorted out.

WOW nice one, sounds like the same problem it had in perth when it opened some lap bars half way thru its cycle. Dear operators of this ride turn your back and run (for the second time in the last 6 months).

What a shame Dell...I went on it the other day and it is FANTASTIC...the best ride I have been on for ages...the action is unique and it is surprising how high it really goes...also is faster than you think...I'm sure it will be only something simple and will be going soon.....I don't think Showtime Amusements would spare any expense on quality and safety of their equipment...it is AWSOME TO RIDE...'GOING BACK NEXT WEEKEND FOR SURE

I was actually alright, I was holding on tight but I didn't really need to. The vid came out good and I also did a Thunderbolt onride aswell, except I only did a cycle of the ride going in reverse, not backwards as I forgot my other memory card :x And got some golden oldies, got a video of Bell's Ski Jump and Wipeout
