Speed's presentation leaves alot to be desired... It's sooooo generic! Is it true that it's faster than Freestyle? I hope that Speed is still going to attend Moomba next year if it hasn't been sold by that time so then I can do a comparison between the 2.

Yes Speed is faster than Freestyle. Hence why you flip/rock back and forth more on Freestyle

Speed may be faster, but the ride is not hardly as smooth as Freestyle... shame really

I've seen pics of Freestyle and Speed, and yes, technically they're both the same ride and by KMG, but they are different variants. While Speed is the standard KMG Speed ride, Freestyle is a slightly compact variant. Henceforth, despite being the same ride by the same manufacturer, the size difference will ensure a different feel and thrill sensation. Case in point, the Mondial Furiozo, which is a bit more compact than its bigger brother the Capriolo. It seems that the smaller versions of the standard rides will be somewhat smoother, but the gondolas will flip back and forth more frequently for some reason.

Where exactly are you getting your information about Speed and Freestyle being smaller / larger than each other. The only difference is the year model. Speed is an older version, and the only difference would be mechanics / newer technology in the rides. Example, Freestyle's motor is louder than Speed so obviously they may use a slightly different motor. Other than that I don't think there is any major differences.

Also having ridden a CAPRIOLO, it is far more smoother than NO LIMIT, the freefall from the top is a lot more fluent when passing through the station... No Limit is a lot tighter

Like Hurricane said, as time has gone on with Freestyle being a later model compared to Speed being something like the 15th or 16th to come out of the factory, the manufacturer would still be making adjustments/different ways on what products or ways their machines are built. The only noticeable difference between the two like I said is Speed is slightly faster than Freestyle

Isn't Speed faster than FreeStyle because Speed is smaller? Also what does Short's Zipper look like? To keep the Zipper topic alive how many Zippers do we have, who owns them and pictures would be awesome :)

No every KMG Speed around the world is exactly the same, except for cosmetic looks

Short's has the yellow boom with red cages. We've got:

Short's
Zacchini's
Ex-Castle?
Ex-Davis'
Ex- JD Amusements

Our christmas carnival is on today, we normally get shorts zipper and some dodgems. Zipper is not there yet even though they are advertising that it will be so I will take some pics if it shows up.
