It was sad to hear that an 8 year old girl died after being throw up to 10 metres while on the AIRMAXX. This ride was new to Australia last year and was the first time at that Adelaide Show. It was suggested the girl flew out from the restraint due to her small size. It is vital that operators stick to the minimum height restrictions for riders, usually 120 cm to prevent these sort of accidents happening again.

I had a ride on it at the RMS last year, it was better than I thought it would be. The bouncing was fairly strong actually and it did lift me up from my seat from memory. I hate to think what must have happened for that little girl to have been flung out.

Such a tragic incident thoughts are with both the Watkins family and the family invloved. Makes me angry to read all the bulls*** in the media, just typical though. I'm actually pretty sure it's a Safeco make
