Toowoomba Show

Post by Force10 »

Hey All,

Toowoomba Royal Show is on this weekend. 27th, 28th & 29th of March. The timing of Sydney Show this year might throw out some of the attractions that went last year.

2013 Line-Up was
Extreme
Cyber Party
Kamikaze (Gill's)
Hurricane (ex Wild Thing)
Alibaba (Out of action)
Spider
Alien Abduction
Tilt
Dogems x 4
DDS Wheel
Small Wheel
Waterballs
Flash Dance

Anyone a local and seen anything rock up at the grounds already? Was a good show last year, but really don't think Extreme will make an appearance again.

Cheers,

Yeah I'm heading there on Saturday to check it out.. though rain might turn everyone away! But we need the rain, so I'm going to brave it!

Hey All,

Not a bad show considering the timing of it being a little off with Sydney coming after it this year, it still attracted a strong line up.

Ali Baba - Gills.
Hurricane - March's
Big Whizzer - March's
Cyber Party
Claw
Rok & Roll
Energy Storm
Dogems x3
DDS wheel
Kids rides
Heaps of food joints.

Gills have done a bit of work to Ali Baba with a new lighting system, wish I could have seen it at night! Hurricane was out of action something was wrong with it. Didn't seemed major, but more frustrating for the crew. Big Whizzer is an intense machine, looking a bit run down it was mechanically awesome. Energy Storm was looking awesome with some new lights and a bit of a paint job. It's hands down one of the most intense rides in OZ IMO. Marcovich's have done up Rok & Roll new paint job and lighting system. Nice to see classics being looked after!

There were a few big gaps in sideshow alley, I can only pin this back to the torrential rain experienced in the 4 days before. There was another Whizzer parked up away from all the rides, was blue/aqua in colour never seen it before. But gaps were probably games that never got set up.
I like Toowoomba, it's a shame the community don't get well behind there show it has the potential to be really awesome,
Cheers
