St Kilda Festival 2010
This event is coming around again (next weekend), and it usually has a alright line up. I have been told that we will be seeing Freestyle, Energy Storm and a Zipper. Not to sure on whose Zipper it will be but that is all the info I have at the minute. These won't be the only rides going, there will be others but this is all i have been told. Anyways, does anyone know where in St Kilda the rides are and do the rides operate both Saturday and Sunday?

Space Roller will most likely be back for 2010, the rides only operate on the Sunday, which is a bit sh**, but i'll be down to take photos, and video!

The rides are in the Catarni Gardens, right on the esplanade, about a 10 minute walk, north-west of Luna Park. I'd recommend public transport if visiting as parking can be a real nightmare.

Re: St Kilda Festival 2010
I drove past today. (Friday 1pm)
Rides already there were:
Chants Wheel (up, roof covers being put on cars)
Chants kiddy rides
Spaceroller (platform and main arm in place, awaiting seats to be connected)
TPA Skyflyer (set up)
I'm sure more to come as there was still a lot of empty space in the middle.
Also lots of stages and cranes setting up stuff.
Signs had been placed around main roads: "By Car: 2 hours, By Tram: 10 minutes" - worthy advice for anyone planning to go

Re: St Kilda Festival 2010
Sounds like another great St. Kilda Festival! I am surprised the rides only operate on the Sunday, considering the festival runs over the whole weekend I think. Does anyone know why this is the case? Nevertheless, a superb lineup for a 1-day event for the showies.

Because Sunday is considered as "Festival Day", the whole festival runs over 14 days apparently.... I know last year the ops were trying to get the organisers to let them operate the Saturday aswell, but it didnt happen.
