Re: new ride
Both true points, I don't really wanna see this coaster chucking off rides at our capitals. How is this going to fit on at melbourne if Tiapan couldn't fot at Melbourne last year? I think it would be very hard to kick off more rides at the shows anymore. Not for another few years at least
Re: new ride
On the subject of Taipan, maybe that would be the one to go, considering its age, especially if there is a newer bigger coaster??

Re: new ride
Doesnt really follow the whole rainbow theme does it. Looking more like an Ali Baba backdrop.

Re: new ride
Why did you post that Rainbow from Poland?
I highly doubt it would be coming here, its ex-model from PNE Playland

Re: new ride
If this is ture, I hope its something along the lines of a Euro Star.. Why do I doubt that though.

Re: new ride
dude seriously, a EURO STAR would never come here, especially how there is only one in the world, and i highly doubt that the current owners would be selling it.
It's too large a ride, if it was to be at Sydney it would need its own area, or about 6 rides would need to be kicked off. Think realistically!

Re: new ride
Don't encourage this foolishness! by saying "i'ts here" is just stupid. It's annoying when someone is going to brag about a ride coming here, when they won't say the name or give any information. Just wait it out, whatever this coaster may be, it should show up eventually.
Re: new ride
it want to have a good capacity to make the money to pay for all that ground it will take also 15 b doubles thats 1.5 millon buy it self even making trailers from old trailers like we did for crazy coaster was not cheap also would be dead money sitting round rest of year in a yard does not seem a good investment to lay idle with out working but would be good to see if it does come

Re: new ride
Yeh would be a mighty investment and I think a stupid one to bring it down under seeing as though we don't have too many big events that it could make a decent income.
V8, so you guys built them trailers, I thought they may have been built by Reverchon. So you guys just bought the actual coaster, then built the trailers yourselves? Would've been a fair bit of work to build the trailers. Then again would've saved TPA a bit of money building their own rather then getting them built for them

Re: new ride
they were from auctions 5 forty foot trailers we cut 2 down to make A trailers so we had two b double and one sigle on first b double goes station and lift and base second has towers sighn and bottom of big dip and light bridge single trailer wich we extended 8ft to carry tracks curves and transfer track. all trailers got possom bellys for blocks and fences and other small parts and were all built in a week as coaster was up for first time at ther yard fresh from france jamie picket worked out how to rack up the whole ride and all went into place on trailers first time good thinking jamie. and of we went to sydney for first year i towed the single up while jamie and tas took the b doubles all trailers went good except the curves on my trailer started to turn with vibration so we put a few more straps on and were on the waywat a blow out at sydney full rides evry day open to close

Re: new ride
Ahh ok thanks for that info. Pretty good thinking and planning stages. I saw the coaster getting setup at Hawkesbury this year and I got a few photos of the trailers:

Re: new ride
Must say great investment for TPA. Attends alot of shows and is still very popular to this day
