New rides for 2009
There are a few new rides heading over here in the coming months.
The first is a purchase for John and Jay Short. They have brought a brand new Dodgem Track. The track has been made by Gozetto with the cars manufactured by Bertazzon. I think the track is about 80 ft long.
Chants have made a few purchases. The first for them is a new KMG Speed called Freestyle. An the second is a Bertazzon Matterhorn called Rock N Roll. These will be arriving around june/july.
We know about Goldenway Amusements purchase in the form of the KMG Inversion.
There is also Miller's Polyp which is currently still on the docks in Melbourne.
And there is one more ride apparently on its way here that should be here maybe in time for the Ekka.
Cheers

And the other new ride is a Zamperla Star Flyer type ride bought by Jaime Pickkert. It is one of those swinging chairs on the towers and is 30 mtrs high. So something different which is always good

Goldenway's KMG Inversion will be loaded onto the boat next Monday. With Chant's Rock and Roll on the same boat. They should arrive a month after that.

I'm pretty sure the Rock N Roll will be going straight to work on the north run. Not sure about the XXXL. I can try and find out.

Re: New rides for 2009
Exclusive FACTORY PHOTO's of XXXL have been released on the internet... I don't want to post them here, but they can be found on THEMEPARK.NL as posted by the photographer for Paviers.
Amazing looking piece, themed in conjunction with SPEED, the three colours are continued with XXXL.
Chris.

Thanks Vee... saved me the trouble.. cool to see the similar colours... love the bubbles, thats such a KMG artwork trademark.
Shame both SPEED and XXXL set up together would look pretty silly...

Re: New rides for 2009
Great find. Very interesting they've gone for the same colour scheme is it superstition for the same success of its older brother?
yet another superb design from the KMG factory floor, if only HUSS had listened to their customers like KMG have.
(I like that single counterweight - very sleek)

Re: New rides for 2009
Depending on how long the trip over from Europe takes which will be I've heard 7-8 weeks, it may just make it. But then more time is taken keeping the ride at the docks for customs to look over the ride

Apparently Paviers did work out a time in which the ride would be here for EKKA.... if not Adelaide if it gets on.

FJF Amusements (Jaime Pickertt), their new ride the Sky Flyer arrived a short time ago. Is currently doing the north run and was running at a show up there over the weekend. Apparently its a pretty good ride, hopefully will see a few photos soon
