New rides?

Post by Ekkafan03 »

Does anyone know if there will be any new rides we could see in 2013?

I do know that Watkin's are planning on getting Air Maxx in Australia by Easter 2013! I wonder if it's a Mondial Capriolo...Guess we have to wait and see!

I have heard a rumor of a BN Performance Rides Smashing Jump coming to our shores for next year, but not sure how accurate that is. It's pretty much a faster version of the Techno Jump with rotating seats.

A Capriolo in Australia... I'd die, they're far superior compared to the Infuriozo.... Much more fun!

too big to travel here I think... looks fun, but i was expecting more from this ride... TURBINE would be far more thrilling, but also too big to travel here!

Awh I was hoping for a TURBINE here, surely It cant be too big? It would give Extreme Speed and No Limit a run for their money, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZcnLvzji ... ature=plcp

Would weigh a shitload with the trailer having 4 axles, quite lengthy too take a look at the photos. No need for one, even if it would be the tallest travelling ride in Australia:

We've already got a HUSS Breakdance in Sydney's Luna Park. Unfortunately they aren't allowed to run it at it's higher speeds due to the noise...plus the theme Spider is just pathetic...

Has anyone have any idea on the new HUSS Rainbow we got? I'm hoping it will hit the shows soon as it seems likely that O'Neill's Rainbow is pretty much defunct, shame really, since it would be great if we have two HUSS Rainbows operating over the number of lacklustre A.R.M. Ali Babas. As for the HUSS Breakdance Spider on Luna Park Sydney, I agree it needs to be on the road now since unfortunately, thanks to those killjoy neighbours, Luna Park Sydney has been reduced to a graveyard.

Here's a photo of Joyland's recently refurbished Sizzler. The ride came into the country about February last year and was worked on throughout last year, if you check out the company's Facebook page there's a video with the ride fitted with colour changing LED lighting:

Also another new ride for Joyland's which arrived in the country last week is a 2007 model Funlight/Kolmax Plus Miami called Body Rock, bought from Phil West in the U.K.
This will be another edition for hire jobs and also some shows, check out the photos:

It's a bit over 7 metres tall and looks bigger in real life than photos, come have a ride Islander then tell me if it's a kids ride. IMO it gives a better ride then a Ferrari model (Bell's, Young's)

Set-up, tested and waiting for registration to go through. Didn't open to the public unfortunately

Paviers amusements have listed a couple of new rides for 2013. First being a SBF VISA Midi dance party 360. Coming soon
http://www.pavier.com.au/360.htm
Also listed is a Round up, Battery operated Dodgems and a kids Pirate ship.
Maybe the 360 might make it to our shores in time for RES.

They've built up a good collection of gear within the last few years. The Round Up looks good at night, on their website it says the 360 is 20 metres high. Looks only half that, will be interesting to see if it does to Sydney Show

SBF Visa by far are one of the worst company's in regards to design....That 360 looks horrible... If only we were getting a Mondial Jet Force, much nicer design, and bigger!
