Ebay

Post by Paulie123 »

What have you bought/sold off ebay?

I just bought a sidekick 3 off ebay for $360. Unlocked. I hope its not a hoax.

The seller lives in Sydney so its good postage doesnt cost much.

Say i get it, and it doesnt work or something, how do i get my money back? Is it possible?

Im sending money order/cashiers check so it should be safe i guess.

Then whats the point of having a Hiptop if the internet functions don't work? What makes this phone so superior in it's general features compared to something else? Is the speaker of exceptional quality or something like that? If I was to buy a Hiptop or another phone like that, I would want all the features to work before spending 3 or 4 hundred dollars on it. Not to mention I wouldn't really want a phone that looks like a Game Boy Advance.

N80 is a POS... N95 = Awesome. It hasn't frozen on me since I removed E-Buddy and put Windows Live Messenger on it... And besides... if you want a brick of a phone...

Exactly... the N95 8GB is NOT a brick... however the original silver N95 is ugly as dog poo!

hey guys,

i have both the original N95 and also the n95 8gig as shown by hurricane ,

ill admit that i looked long and hard b4 deciding to go for the n95 8gig i looked at almost every phone on the australian market for features as well as cost etc.

now i also looked at the hiptop but i didnt want it just for the purpose of wat it had because it had unlimited inet or sms or wat ever but simply because it COULD NOT compare to the n958gb it just suxed the featuresw were not superior and i didnt want a phone that looked like a game boy advance - there is no comparision also i looked at the i phone i thought i was hell bent on getting the apple iphone but it again could not compare.

yeah it all depends on what you want.
I wanted the hiptop cause of the keyboard for texting.
It looks heaps better in person. Pictures can't compare.
We will never decide on the best phone over all but the N95 might win features, the hiptop is the king of texts, and other phones are good for other things.
But I'm happy with my hiptop, does what I want it to do. And it's pretty sexy with all it's spinning glory 8)

I have texted on a hiptop before... and I found the QWERTY Keyboard more annoying and harder to type with then the traditional phone keypad. The buttons were just too small to press unless you have witch fingernails... So this is the ranking for best phone in Australia...

Nokia N95 8GB - Apple iPhone - Nokia 3315  - Hiptop SideKick.

What sidekick did you use daniel?

The slide? Cause yeah, your right about that. Tried texting on that and it is VERY hard because the keys barely lift up. They are sorta inside the phone is you get me..

But the hiptop 2 & 3 are easy as to type on. Well lifted keys and with more rubbery type keys as to the slide. I text twice as fast now on the hiptop as on my other phone. Thats quick 8)

I have used a Hiptop 2 and a Sidekick as my freind had one. Hence why I didn't like it as he gave it to me for a week to use as I was going to buy it off him. I decided not to and I got the N95 instead. Best decision of my life. Also... I can type at around 40 WPM on my phone most of the time and around 65 - 70 WPM on my PC.
