Thanks for that Kiwi; a good ride lineup, especially with the Super Loop, Hurricane, Kamikaze, Explorer etc. I must get over to chek out your Easter Show some time.

Eastershow

Post by kiwi »

Well another Eastershow went without hiccup. The weather was brillant throughout.

No rides had any major problems with everything riding well. The long awaited return of the Zipper to the show circuit went down well, running well throughout the show.

Hope to post some pics later in the week

Good to hear all went well Kiwi. I see you are now using the coupon system in the carnival. Do you think it's better than paying cash for each ride? We've had it at our RES since 1996 and I think it's okay.

Have you got any more onride videos? They're excellent, especially as they have no music accompanying them and it's easy to hear what's going on.

Princess, you'll find it much more real when you are holding on.

You'll see.

Coupon System

Post by kiwi »

The Eastershow has had coupons used on the majority of rides for a number of years. The area use to be cut down the middle. It made it very confusing for the public. With the sale of Rex Newtons rides it gave the show the opportunity to force everyone to accept coupons. It made it a lot easier for everyone, and the public seemed to like the package deals a lot more.

In all, all rides seemed to be better off with the coupons.
