Waterslides GONE!

Post by Hurricane »

I was on the seaworld site today and was looking in the ride closeures and this is what i found!
ATTRACTION MAINTENANCE

The Toboggan Slide, Speed Slide and Freefall Slide in the Sea World Waterpark are closed indefinitely to make way for a fantastic new attraction. The swimming pool areas, mini slide and water fountains continue to operate as per normal.

The Skyway will be closed from 30 August - 13 September 2004 for annual maintenance.

Sea World apologises for any inconvenience.

I was absolutley shocked to see this as i get bored at sea world and the waterslides were the only thing at seaworld i enjoyed!

Heres the link if you don't belive me: http://www.seaworld.com.au/visitor_info ... archived=0

Yes that is true........Sea World will be getting Mammoth Plunge from Wet N Wild. Mammoth River will remain at Wet N Wild and a new slide will take Plunge's place.

So is mamoth plunge the only ride they will be getting, because if that is so then that really sucks. I thought they would have at least put in another 2 attractions! When will we be expecting the mamoth plunge ride, before Easter I hope?

Will, I doubt it will be ready by easter. Wet N Wild say their new attractions will be ready by September ish. I say Sea World will be aroudn the same time. Probably for the September school holidays.

Sea World is also doing up a new Seal area where the old Thrill Seeker roller coaster ws located.
