Mad March Fair
On my way to work, I saw a banner which said 'Mad March Fair - Saturday 5th March' on the junction of Golden Grove Road & Park Lake Drive.
It even had a pic of a Hurricane ride! BTW, my dad is off this weekend so maybe he'll take me there!
EDIT: The fair will be at St Francis Xavier's Regional Catholic School on 4 Carignane Street, Wynn Vale.
This year is a Mad March Fair year and Jo MacWilliams and her merry band of helpers have been working and attending meetings for many months, organising rides and food stalls, wrapping gifts and booking entertainment for what will be another great fair. There is still much to be done and I am sure that Jo will be making requests for help and volunteers on the day. The Mad March Fair has a wonderful reputation, in the area as a great day of fun and enjoyment. Please be generous and understanding when you are approached for help as the committee needs your support. Classrooms have been allocated stalls and the weeks ahead will be busy, as the final requests are made. Thank you to all those parents, too many to mention, who have already contributed and given of their time to help. Pleased be assured it is appreciated!
Hopefully, I'll head down & take some unpacking pics!

Re: Mad March Fair
I expected the Hurricane to be Hamilton's (not March's) strange.
Re: Mad March Fair
That picture of March's hurricane is a very outdated photo and is just a promotional picture. As far as I am aware March's hurricane is somewhere around QLD right now.

Dazzleland - nicely done with the photos you did good (especially getting the nameplate of the Chance Trabant 'Wipeout') From the serial number I can just notice it appears to be a 1971 model. I'm jealous of you seeing it, did you jump on for a ride? Definitely a ride we could do with more of. Hurricane is looking very nice especially seeing it folded up with its new deck.

Re: Mad March Fair
Cheers for all those photos mate, looks like a good event. Hamilton's Hurricane is looking good, nice and bright. Looking at those pull-down photos just reminds myself of getting those cars off the arms and taking that bull-ring out, very frigen heavy lol. Those newer cars look like they don't have any bars on the outside for lifting/dragging the cars? Would make it a tad more difficult IMO
Re: Mad March Fair
the newer cars have handle hole under the middle lip of fiberglass you can get your fingers in there
but the older style cars are easyer to lift on with the bars

And now, the packing of Wipeout:
The round holes tell the fact that it's imported from the USA & originally had round tail lights!
