Blacktown Show 2011

Blacktown show was on last weekend, poped in after work on the way home. Far out what a sh** show, they really need to do something about this show. This was Saturday arvo with not alot of people there, stalls not doing mucn business and rides hardly had anyone riding them. OFA were running sideshow alley and there gear, must say looking crap. Was checking out their Dodgem Track and it was really messy looking for a fold up track, hydraulic fluid all over the front and backs of the trailer where the rams raise the roof, real uneven track. And the operator was shocking, yelling at kids over the mic for notsticking to the outside, not a real good vibe at all.

Ride Lineup was:
Dodgem Track
Music Trip (Trabant)
Yoyo
Ferris Wheel
Giant Slide
Heaps of kids rides
SIdeshows
Canteens

Also Trabant isn't looking as good as what it did when John Phelan owned it, sounded real shoddy. Saw this wheel of their's at a hire job we did the weekend before and that broke down for just about the whole time we were hired for. All the rest of their gear including their joints looked real shoddy, not real good at all. Got a few pics, used phone so not real good quality but anyway:

Last time I'll be going, shocker of a show. Blacktown ain't the best of places in western sydney either, shame it's not too great these days.

A real shame as Blacktown used to be great once upon a time and I remember Sideshow Alley being so full of people you couldn't move.
