2012 Royal Geelong Show

Just thought about this show and checked the website. Nothing is on the website yet of the ride line-up. It just says the line-up will be announced Aug/Sep so we should know soon I guess. I wonder what will appear this year. Please post if you can confirm any rides.

Ok so I noticed the shows website has not been updated and looks like no more information regarding any rides. Its funny because the site originally said that the full line up will be announced August or September LOL year right I think no one knows or is in charge of the website update perhaps. I hope anyone can confirm something since I won't bother if I don't know what's appearing it could be a waste of time and I'm not taking time off work for nothing.

Thanks for all the updates everyone. It looks like an ok line up so far, even if it's still missing the regulars like the Zipper, and I doubt I'll get to ride one any time soon in Vic, unless somebody knows a better show somewhere near melbourne? Also, is MEGA DROP really there? i'm just wondering since you did not mention it Missionelement, but Tayz did?

That'd be the first show that Hard Rock would be operating under new ownership, someone in the Verfuth family has bought it. Think it may be Brad?

Was at the show today. Worked with the cattle from 9 to 1, then hit the side show ally after that. I will put a review up later, can't be screwed doing it now. Also got some pictures and a vid of extreme, xxxl, hardrock and the scorpian. Most of the rides were doing really good all day.

Cheers for the photos, pretty sure Scorpion is still owned by Peter Stratton. I haven't seen it for years now either

The last time I rode it when it was at the Rye Carnival a few years ago. It was an awesome ride. If I ever see it again I might live on it just like a few others
