Huss Rainbow in Paris

[HUSSRAINBOW]

As you all know, i've been in Europe the past two months, and im finally back. I was lucky enough to see arguably the best kept Huss Rainbow currently travelling Europe (and the world) at the moment. Owned by Fleur, a french family, the Rainbow was at the Fete Des Tuileries right in the heart of Paris. The carnival runs for just over a month every year. Was able to ride this Rainbow 15 times, and it was just as fun every go! Can't wait to see a Rainbow back on the road here, it's been far too long!

Great photos thanks Chris, indeed in good condition and great that Fleur's have kept it that way. Definately an iconic ride in a carnival, miss seeing it at Sydney Show nowadays

notice 10th photo the hydralluc motor on the center hub comes with oil filter which modified to protect the damage to hydralluc motor
wittingslow don't have these and they had replace some times that cost lots of money!

wow. For whatever reason I have only now discovered this post. Amazing photos Chris - you've covered every inch of that beautiful machine magnificently with your photography talent. Some superb angles (I like that shot of the chrome bars too)

Very interesting about the oil filter mod.

Some observations and questions...

- is there some sort of surface on the seats to stop you from sliding?
- can anyone make sense of the HUSS serial numbers? (usually some numbers indicate month and year of manufacture, but HUSS seem to have their own secret code)
- the Hartig console looks different to the usual Hartig HUSS consoles, I wonder if it was refitted by the owners?
- the trailer tyres are covered in black material, I've never seen this on a ride before.

ps. if you had've gone to Pakistan instead of France, you would've been able to experience this. Is it a HUSS? lol

- Seating is the same like on ours, just those grooves cut into the fiberglass... definitely didn't stop the sliding.
- Trailer tyres were just covered in tarp, guess for protection.
