Insanity always did well at the Melbourne F1 Grand Prix, so did Sling Shot... it was always fun to go over to the rides when the cars weren't out on the track

It sure is different to see those rides at Homebush without the RES being on. I would think of Pink's dodgems were right in the main area they'd do very well with all those people keen to get behind a steering wheel. The rides seemed a bit spread out. maybe a bit too far apart?

Yeh they would've gone better in the main area I think, even on the corner there leading into the sideshow area, they would've gotten plenty of frontage for people to see them then yeh I'm sure they would've had alot more riders.

Yeh I think they were set back a bit too far. They were set behind all the merchandise trucks/tents then there was that opening to get to the rides.

Here's my videos from the event. Only got Hard Rock and XXXL, would've liked to have gotten an onride on XXXL and an offride of Insanity. Heres the links:

XXXL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2smT3quuiRI

Tell me watch you think, thanks

THanks for the vids top gunner I esspecially like XXXL's vid and the way it is being operated now. I can't wait to try it again and some serrious flipping action was going on with XXXL even when it went over the top. Will it be at Paviers Xmas Carnival?

Gosford, on the NSW Central Coast. When I get the full lineup I'll post it in the Xmas carnival thread

Nice video, at the 2 min mark the gondolas are not locked over the top. I didnt think the KMG invertion's couldnt be unlocked when they reach over 130 degrees to health risks of negative G forces to intense when passing thru the platform? Would love to ride it like that tho! :)

thats a very tame unlocking at the top, with DOMINATOR in europe, the hug rotates max speed, and they unlock it at the top, causing the cars to flip upside down through the deck, it looks horrible! lol

Yeh well neither did I they can. I've heard that now KMG has issued a notification to all Inversion owners not to unlock them past the 90 degree mark, due to risk of accidents/rider injuries an occurance. Even though the ride is made to operate like that

No Limit does the same thing kind of (upside down through the station) and it's the most intense and best part of the ride cycle IMO, even though it makes you feel like you may pass out from the G forces. If I owned and operated the KMG ride, I would probably be very cautious of running it like this all the time. I would probably only run it like this if I knew a bunch of real thrill seekers were strapped in.

It would be good if there was an extra disclaimer you could sign (and maybe an opportunity to up-sell for the operator) for an extra intense ride cycle. Of course, this would never happen in reality.

When driving down to Canberra, I saw Insanity just south of Taree. I wonder if it is heading up to Coffs for the holidays or where it could be heading next. Also passing tea garden's where the Ayer's rock servo is, I saw something set up that looked remarkably like a Turbo. There were no cages or anything on it, and I doubt that it is but who knows.
