Thanks for the photos. Yeh it is looking alot better, nice to see it's had the paint-job done. Whose Ghost Train is that, looks familiar like I saw it years ago at Hawkesbury.

Hurricane, Phil Durkin lives down here on the outskirt's of Sydney, I have seen that thought that his based/postal address is at Burleigh Heads.

thanks for sharing those photos HR. Glad Pirate got a long awaited paintjob. I always did prefer it in white though. Where's that centre panel? It needs a good airbrush scene of Johnny Depp in pirate attire.

I think that may have left today or maybe tomorrow. Anyway got the lineup for Bell's Carnival at Bateman's Bay. Great lineup as usual with:

No Limit
Thunderbolt
Music Trip
Big Wheel
Ski Jump
Cha Cha
Wipeout
Para Trooper
Swinger
Tornado
Dodgem Track
Heaps of kids rides
Heaps of sideshow games
Food Canteens

Great carnival as usual, I'll be heading down in January, will get some video's of Bell's "exclusive rides" that only run at that carnival-Ski Jump, Wipeout and some others. Will have the usual photos aswell

Cheers

They are at Kiama on the NSW south coast, don't know the actual lineup though. Also have Joyland's lineup for Jervis Bay (at Huskisson). They start on boxing day and they'll start taking gear down on Monday. Lineup is:

Power Surge
Hurricane
Cha Cha
Round Up
Wild Chairs
Dodgem Track
Giant Slide
Kids rides
Sideshow games
Food Canteen

Good little carnival, have been going there for years so won't be missing out on going. Will visit sometime in January.

Cheers

anyone know where Chants have a carnival? or where the freestyle is going to be

Chant's do a joint carnival with Pavier's and Goldenway at Gosford on the NSW Central Coast. I've heard Freestyle won't be going to a Xmas carnival but will be doing various events around Victoria

Makes sense. Having Freestyle and Speed at the same Xmas location would be a bit hard to justify.

What sort of Events around Victoria will Freestyle be doing Top Gunner?

Seeing it at Rye would be nice.

Possible VIC Xmas spots:

Rye / Rosebud (Witts)
Portarlington (Pattons / ?)
Anglesea (Zacchini / Evans)
Portland (TPA)
Barwon Heads (Johnsons)
Luna Park Melbourne (?)

It would be nice to have something a bit different like that at Rye. What rides venture down to Ocean Grove?

It's actually Barwon Heads (about 5 min from Ocean Grove) usually their Roundup (renamed), Cha Cha, Hard Rock (not always the whole Xmas period), Dodgems, various kiddy rides. It's by no means a big carnival, but well suited to the small town and popular holiday spot.

Hard Rock always goes to Narrabeen and has been since that carnival started up. Dunno what events it'll be doing SRF.

Hard Rock's at Foster/Tuncurry at Pink's carnival which has:

Hard Rock
Crazy Cars
Cha Cha
Kids Rides
Sideshows
Food Canteens

That's all that I know are there, maybe a few more. Also Disco Show should be at Rye now along with Hurricane. Was at Phelan's yard today and his new Dodgem Track will be leaving in the next few days. His also taking down a fun house I think and a few kids rides.

And also got out to Narrabeen today, had to do a delivery of showbags for my work's showbag van. Got a few photos that I'll put up soon

Cheers

Here's the photos from Narrabeen, was pretty wet out there and sorry not the best photos, was using my camera.

Super Trooper:

And something to take the eyes of motorists off the road:

Carnival looked different without the Hard Rock there, stood right out where it used to be sited. Miller's Giant Slide was getting set-up while I was there and Paul Watkin's track won't arrive until Sunday after doing a hire job
