Is NO Limit Included in the 15 - 20 Dollar Unlimted Ride Wristband system? Great photos by the way... I miss Thunderbolt and Music Trip

I'm guessing the just didn't put it up at th shows in Vic. Thanks guys, no the NL isn't included, the wristbands are now $30 but you get a $5 discount if you have a band or its just the normal $15 for a ride

No it won't, I was the first rider of the night and I had people watching me then after I got off everyone started to have a ride. Had a few full cycles going while I was there and that was early in the night. once everyone starts going down this week for their holidays it'll go alot better

Thanks for the pics TopGunner..and looking forward to some more down the line.Um..so what was the reason behind No Limit's police escort, was it really necessary?..seems a little excessive.Good to see the sign back...a bit lame if the reason behind it's absence from the Vic shows was merely them not being bothered to put it on..surely it can't be all that difficult to do?.I know the average person wouldn't notice..but of course we do,and it seems incomplete without it.
Good to see Thunderbolt and Paratrooper, but no Hurricane again?..I remember you saying it's usually there but they don't set it up

They can't drive the NL through the Clyde Mountain because it's so narrow the road and to get ariund the tight corners and all that, they had the police to stop the traffic at certain times so the ride could make the wider turns. The Hurricane doesn't go because they give the operator a few weeks off because he doesn't get a break from the whole year of operating it. Otherwise it would be there. Also got out to Narrabeen today just took some photos of the rides there while the carnival was closed

Yeh it does lol, sorry I didn't explain it simpler, but yeh it would be pointless to get the escort if it could get through ok

Got down to Narrabeen yesterday during the day. Just took a few photos and walked around and had a chat to a few of the operators that were there. A few things that were missing were the Top Gun, everyone was told that it was coming, it was advertised in the poster that has been sent around the local area where the carnival is but the ride was at the last minute sent to Ted Foster's carnival instead. So that wasn't there. The other ride that itsfun said that might be there that was a major drawcard was the Skyview wheel. It was meant to go to the city near the Opera House but I think that plan fell through, it was then probably going to go to Narrabeen but instead has been sent up to Queensland in Brisbane somewhere.
But still a pretty good lineup of rides:
Cha Cha:
Flashdance:
Super Trooper:
Hard Rock:
Zipper:
While I was there, Watkin's Dodgem Track had just arrived and was being setup after doing a hire job yesterday. The carnival opens at 6pm for those who want to go. Anyway enjoy!
Cheers

Pretty good line-up...I'd certainly be jumping on Hard Rock,Flashdance and Zipper.New South Wales definitely trumps Victoria when it comes to Christmas carnivals..unless Rye delivers something special.

Matt seriously, I mean Rye used to have the best lineup for christmas, Wittingslow owned the most Huss rides in the world....
Rye used to have a lineup like:
Rainbow, Enterprise, Ranger (Huss), Zipper, Huss Breakdance....
It's stupid how a Vic ride like Hard Rock, ends up in NSW over christmas....
At least we get Space Roller I guess

The operative words being
USED TO Huss.I'm aware of how amazing Rye was back then, but personally,I'd prefer to be in N.S.W and attend Narrabeen,Coffs or Bell's carnival.I agree with you about Phillip Island/Space Roller though,at least thats one thing they can't take from us!

THanks for them pics top gunner and must i say that Dales Cha Cha looks quite impressive well for a Cha Cha. It is a bit sad that some vic rides go interstate like Hard Rock, but we can't do really anying about it.

Great info and pics as usual Topgunner!
I’m most probably heading down to Narrabeen this Saturday evening and am looking forward to riding Flashdance, Hard Rock, Super Trooper and probably Zipper as well.
Narrabeen is quite strange in that it never has a confirmed ride line-up and attractions tend to come and go during the Christmas/New Year break. Last year I went on January 6 and although the carnival was still operating, some of the big rides like Insanity, Breakdance and Zipper had already left. Fortunately, Hard Rock and Topgun were still there.
I may also check out Gosford carnival after New Year’s Eve as I’m going to visit some relatives up that way. Is the carnival located on the Gosford Waterfront near the Leagues Club or is it in Terrigal itself?

Thanks guys. I'm not to sure where the carnival is located sorry Ben. If you give Pavier's a ring, they'll tell you. Yeh I saw Justin's Cha a few years back at Narrabeen but I didn't remeber what it looked like back then. But yeh it does look good, up there with Bell's, Laurie's and a few others.
