THE OCTOPUS RIDE

Post by x 648 »

Hey everyone, I noticed that the Octopus ride hasn't been seen around alot, does anyone know how many are working in OZ? I only know of 2, well 3 if u call the spider an Occy. Many do. The spider does the exact same thing as an Occy. I think the spider is American though?! Don't quote me though, I'm not 100% sure about that.

That one used to be on the ground, that was untill the flaherty's trailerised it. It also used to have light globes and festernie on the white bars above the arms where the fluro's are in that picture.lol It's also all manual labour to put up and pull down, no hudrolics what so ever. :)

But i'm sure there are still more.lol  :) + we can't forget the spider, who O'shea own's ( i thnk ?) not sure about that last one. Who own's it i mean.

: Nearly all Octupus rides were shut down because of some accident at a small show in NSW where a little girl was killed. Not sure what happened but gave the ride a really bad name. Shame as its an excellent ride.
