Overall:
Fairly busy for opening night, and great to see Stratton's Ex-Conklin Kamikaze down in Melbourne.
Space Roller was running well, as were the other majors.
Rode Kamikaze for the first time in my life... kinda fun, but the whole stopping at the top was really uncomfortable... if only these rides had Mondial seats.

Thanks for the photos Huss! I've never seen Stratton's Kamikaze so thats the first i've seen or heard of it. The signage for the side of the platform looks awsome with 'Space Roller' added.

Looks good - I didn't know about this one. I will try and get down there on Sunday.

Other festivals on in metro Melbourne this weekend include Clayton Community festival (Sunday) and Ashburton.

Thanks for the photos Huss. Yeh I think I may have heard of Stratton's Kamikaze a while ago. Looks good. Yeh the side panels on the Space Roller are looking quite flash.

I got down there today for a quick walk around today (Sunday)

Only ride I went on was Girdler's Ferris Wheel - a great day for it, I could have happily sat on that wheel all day.

Was good to see some SA rides in VIC - Chacha, Kamikaze, Skydiver and Girder's Ferris Wheel

Spaceroller was looking great.

A lot of these rides will be going to the Knox Festival next weekend.

Yeah Space Roller will be at Ferntree Gully for the Knox Festival.

I thought you hated ferris wheels?
And no way i could go to a fair with Spaceroller and just ride a ferris wheel..

The new Space Roller signs were NOT sent back to Mondial to be re-painted, they were constructed and painted here in Oz, in NSW, then again, I should know... they are on my Space Roller model
Also about the Kamikaze, it may all be very well that Lynch's own it... but It was very clear that people working on it, had uniforms with Strattons Amusements.
I'd word myself a bit differently before having a go at people if I were you.

If I remember correctly the new Space Roller signs were done by Mark Gill.
