I was talking to a friend in Belgium who was able to give me some great insight to this ride, as well as some amazing photos. Special thanks to http://www.break-dance.be and Dave for the following information.
The Cyber-Party was born Street Dance, without lifting arms. The ride left the SOBEMA Factory in 1987. First funfair was Eastern 88.
The ride travelled mostly the tour that now the break-dance does. (http://www.break-dance.be)

Somewhere in the mid 90's a disaster occured. On the fun fair of Brughes a fire destroyed a small children carousel. the fire also destroyed a part of the dodgems, the backdrop of the street dance and the generator.

So the street dance went back to Sobema, got the lifting arms fitted and new gondolas with other braces. 2 years after the fire the ride got it's new backdrop and name Cyber-Party

The first year after the fire the lifting arms were not used, when the refurbishment was fully finished, then the lifting arms started to be used.
Cyber Party/ Street dance is/was the second fastest Sobema Break-Dance ever made.

Cheers for the photos and the information. I'm guessing the tear down photos were taken in Europe not here?

Thanks for the info, someday I would like to ride this beast. Maybe I have to come up to the Gold Coast and go to the theme parks and the Gold Coast Show.

Yes, the photos were taken in Europe. Now here's a bit of interesting Trivia... A Sobema BreakDance runs at between 8 and 10rpm. Whereas a HUSS BreakDance can run up to 16rpm... And I thought the Sobema's were fast enough... imagine them at double the speed!

Sobema worked with COURTOIS for doing various paintjobs on there attractions.
Every Street-Dance that left Sobema has paintings made by the French Courtois. Its because his work with Sobema he's now famous under the showmen for doing paints.

With the refurbish of the Street Dance to Cyber-Party the paintjob was done by the Flemish FOKKE. If you look at the backdrop, painted 95-96, it looks still like new. Very good paintjob...

All these pictures were taken by me on the last European funfair the Cyber-Party did before he went to Antwerp for his 7 week trip on a boat.
Its a town in the French region of Belgium right next to Brussels, CHARLEROI.
The pictures were taken on demand by Yolanda so she could make a book with all the importent things to look at and for building up and tearing down.

It seems the Street Dance left the factory of Sobema with another name : Break-Dance.
Due to an issue with HUSS a few laters later (3-4 years) the name was changed into Street-Dance.

I have new photos of the Street Dance, whenever I have the time I will post them here.

It looks the same but there are some big differences...

The running lights on the backdrop, where LAS VEGAS is, with the one from Wittingslow is under LAS VEGAS, the street dance above las vegas, also the decoration on the backdrop is different, others text or other place on the backdrop...

Can anyone take pics of it arriving in the docks and being modified for Australian road use?

There aren't any pictures of the ride from when it arrived and during the modification process. If there were any they would be in the gallery I am sorry. I can ask the Trindalls next time I work for them but I doubt there are any in existence.
