Here is your chance to own one of these collector item showmans caps. These are not normally available to the public and are usually only sold to showmen, you may have even seen some showmen wearing them. As you can see in the photos, they are 100% black cotton with embroidering on the peak, left hand side and back. Embroided on the peak is a Roller Coaster which has the track going around to the left side, on the left is the Hard Rock (called "Fire Ball"),Mega Drop,Ferris Wheel,Wave Swinger, Merry-go-Round and stalls along the bottom. Around the back, there are fireworks over the opening. Not only are they embroided, but they can also light up! Inside the cap is a switch which you can turn on/off and is powered by a replacable 3volt battery. The switch is connected to fibre optic wires which flicker and light up the Hard Rock in red,Mega Drop in white and Ferris Wheel and Wave Swinger in green. (see pix) The caps have a velcro adjustable band at the back so one size fits all. I was lucky enough to aquire 10 only of these caps and once these are gone,that's it.So first in,first served.I'm asking $20 for these (plus postage) which is cheaper than what you would pay for one of those brand name surfie git/homey caps. They are a copy of the IAPPA Trade & Convention Show caps that were available to each member of IAPPA who attended in 2005 & 2006. If you want an Australian Showman's cap you ought to try and see if you can obtain the SGA Centenary Cap.

Good news for anybody who missed out on one of these Showmans Caps! I have 5 more available to members who are serious about getting one (PLEASE, no more wanna-be's this time, yeh! I'll have one, but no action). Thanks to the Aussie AND overseas members who got one last time, I hope you are happy with them.
